@ I’ve been watching a LOT of your casts - and also Gyles and Tactical Takeovers - and there seems to be a pattern emerging. Defensive investment is nearly non-existent besides shielding up parts of bases. The missing SMD after building nuke silos is so common one could play a drinking game based on that. But just as well I don’t see coastal batteries or torpedo batteries being constructed for example on Setons. Well not preemptively anyway. Usually when they try, it’s already too late. The same goes for PDs and AA.

would of been interesting to see a tele omni build. just plopping a omni or t2 radar/sonar to search for the coms. then a snipe attempt.

Easy oversight that he could be nuked from navy. They had air completely and had the land fully scouted the whole time so he probably thought an SMD was a waste of time and resources. Probably thought he already won the game establishing triple nukes like that so early. Still no excuse but when some players think they won they do play differently.

Very true. Being overconfident is one of the worst things to be. Survivor is another great example of people being way overconfident and getting voted out that episode.
