I remember i played a lot of this one when i was little, and i never got to far, i think i couldnt pass nargacuga, but i still played, because i was little i enjoy the most boring quest like the ones about gettinf back eggs and such. Last year i got this game to play on a ps3, so i deffinetly played, i got jhen and i remember, at some point he got to close to the ship, and activated something and the shipp got like this drilling spear into him, and suddenly the music changed to the main title music, the one that is similar in all monster hunter, and i suddenly started to cry, like tears of joy you could say, the music hit me, with this feeling of, not only im resurrecting my childhood, but im doing something i havent done in my life and was finishing something i really loved

Rank G (or HR I guess) Rathalos in mh3rdp is annoying to deal with using hammer because of the additional moveset (tail spin stun, poison and blast combo) but once you switch to dual blade it is manageable. Barioth wasn't as annoying agile like in Iceborne back then. The real problem is deviljho because even with the maxed out defense stat, he can wipe out 50-75% of my max hp with one breath. Also, in mh3rdp, there is a quest to kill 3 nargacugas in 50 mins and I remembered killing all the bullfangos 2 times for each spot where the boss will appear so that they will not respawn before engaging the boss. And thanks to that quest, nargacuga is a walk in the park for iceborne. So much painful memories.

Played this for like 200 hours now, new stuff but less stuff i enjoy MHFU more, they removed the only thing that makes 3rd gen special, the the underwater hunts, people hated it but at least its something. Now its just like any other MH but way less content.
