thoughts on stat def, I almost never see defense in depth and walls used in conjunction with mines: build LLTs in depth and use walls to force units to divert right into minefields. just like WW1! that time you built minefields in depth, Bright, that was good, would like to see more of that from other players.

I don't understand how the yellow player is OS24. He just sends his T2 units into the canyon without any form of tactics or plan. And no form of retreat when it went wrong. Even those poor Starlights at the back weren't ordered to pull back.

Cant wait to join lobbies, but I'm still practicing beating simple AIs with a tick rush lol. Figure I'll refine build order doing something stupid simple like that, then gradumatate myself to the lofty heights of practicing the grunt rush against the simple AI. It's been nigh on 2 decades since I played any TA or its derivatives, and I dont want to _totally_ embarrass myself when I start joining lobbies lol

That's great! Practicing a couple of builds is a great way to get started. Don't feel too bad though about jumping into a PVP match to get the real experience. As long as you're willing to listen to your teammates suggestions usually people are more than happy to help others learn the ropes

With respect to the OS inflation, do you think the top players are getting objectively that much better, or is the increasing player base mean a wider range of skills and that just pushes up the max OS?

I think the answer is yes and yes. Overall the total player base has absolutely increased in skill on average but the pros amplify that by a bunch. That coupled with more people means we just need a higher range to represent everyone
