You are actually the only one KZbinr who use the entire fish, no waste at all, the other idiots just take the fillets, but you take all the meat as should be, I remember my grandma in Venezuela, we grow up in the Caribbean and we eat fish all the time and she use all the fish, soup with the head and bones, and on the grill the rest. Buy some dragonfly nymphs or eggs and put them in a pond or a few half wine barrels so fish can't get them and when they start flying watch your fly problem drop significantly. I had a fish tank outside so I could watch the carnage underwater during their nymph phase of life. Get some Praying Mantis eggs as well. Bugs won't have anywhere to hide and watching both species hunt is entertaining.

I've even seen people hang fake dragonflies around or wear them on wires on a hat. That would be goofy for the keys I think, but in Australia and some other places, the flies are relentless and prolific and I wouldn't be above it if it worked.

Aloha. When I was a kid growing up in Ohio, my dad would pay us ten cents apiece for praying mantis eggs. He’d string them up in the garden.

I do a very similar recipe for mini season and make a lobster bisque. The flurry is a perfectly sound way of thickening it but if you wanted to save yourself some time whisking, you can throw your butter dredged in flour once your trinity is softened a bit. It will get clumpy from the butter and flour then you just pour in stock and cream and cook your veggies until tender from there. Looks unbelievable though

Stock for meat start it boiling. Stock for soup start it cold. Always salt to finish. You can always add more you can never take it back. If you start with a roux you end up with a much richer chowder. Cornstarch should never be used in a chowder unless your roux has split because you got it too hot. I can send you a recipe that has won awards. It's your type of recipe.
