I have the Plexi SV20H and the original 1987 small combo Silver Jubilee that weighs more than an elephant. I play them now and again to keep my ears sharp for Helix presets Thanks to your videos.

I just picked up one of these heads used along with a 4x10 cab from 1988. Gets me all of the Marshall tones I used to get with my 50 watt JCM 800 in the early nineties. Thanks again!

Jason, love this video. I’m a helix user too but sometimes just got to pull my Marshall TSL out and let rip. Nothing sounds like a Les Paul through a cranked Marshall 🤘 Wish helix would add tone capture as a feature

The clean input is amazing. So may clean Marshall tones recorded with the 800.

You are better off getting the big versions and using a captor x. I do it with my afd100 , silver jubilee and jvm410h

why? It's so much easier to carry and it's tone is pretty close. Adding a captor is just another piece of gear to carry. Unless your playing a festival this will do the job just fine. How do I know. I have an 82 2204 plus the Studio Classic. But then again it's just my opinion and your opinion. Neither is right or wrong.

Me, it’s the only input I use actually. My HX Stomp drive pedals in front of it. BUT mine is a hand wired clone.
