@@cooldude69319 Well who did the cats play at start of the year? Mostly bottom teams brisbane @gabba looked good but brisbane wasn't exactly flying at the time. Carlton was very injury depleted last time you played. Infact think weitering was the only defender that played both games. So I don't know if this is a slump.

In a werid way, I actually feel satisfied with this loss. Shows exactly where we are at, and that we need to retire 5-6 players, and start playing some of the kids, who are ripping it up in the VFL. Hawkins, Duncan, Tuohy, Stanley, Bews all need to retire. Probably missing 1 or 2 more, but I think Danger, C Guthrie and Rohan go around one more time. Can't lose absolutely all senior players at the same time.

Yeah the thing is Chris’s Scott is rebuilding as also by playing senior players. He doesn’t just want to play all rookies and then be like a north Melbourne, so I agree on waiting on danger and guth

@kelvinator3037 yep, and a far better run than most will ever have. Basically, 20 years near the top.. 6 GFs, 4 Flags. Considering that I never thought I'd see a single Premiership (after the agony of the 90s), it has been the stuff of legends.

Geelongs forward entrys just tapered off, never hit a mark apart from the one between Myers and Jezza. Lots of mistakes and turnovers. Hate to admit it, Carlton out ran and out paced the whole game, workrate was elite, pressure sustained the full 4 quarters.

Cats have been up for so long, nothing wrong with dropping a bit this year and rebuilding. Such a good team, highly doubt they'll be down for long. This Carlton is different.. there's something scary about that team.

I’ll be honest, I really think Geelong needs to put the time into SDK becoming their number 1 ruckman. You can see what his brothers doing for Carlton right now, and Sam is every bit the player his brother is.
