Sunny's voice and the way he transposes vocals and how the band arranges these covers is beyond my comprehension. I watch them live on Tiktok (the only thing I enjoy on there) and I don't understand how they can take live requests and just have this incredible arrangement every time. I keep trying to request "MmmmBop" by Hanson but they don't seem to have an arrangement yet. This group's music is some of my most potent medicine right now. As an aside, I have history with almost every genre of music. I'm a DJ (mostly deep house/progressive house/drum n bass). I raved for ten years starting in 1999. Spent a lot of my childhood years listening to 90s country, currently love "conscious" music, like Nahko & Medicine for the People, Trevor Hall, and East Forest. My taste is subjective, obviously, but Sunny & The Black Pack has lately been right up there with my medicine, alongside Nahko, Trevor Hall, and East Forest. I never expected to find medicine on Tiktok but I absolutely did. Fuck Tiktok, but also, fuckin' hell ya, Tiktok! I finally found a use for the platform. Love you guys. Stay up, be well
