That walker, armed, machine, 3d model was used in a short film called HYBRIDS. It's at the very end. One of these production teams used it first.

I am way onboard and hope this gets funded. Among the talking points for meetings keep in mind that: (1) John Truby has said science fiction of this sort is the next wave of hits; and, (2) the scientific"singularity" in all of its various articulations (as opposed to a physical one) has yet to be explored in any major films even though the clock is ticking by all measures.

-in 40 years" since he had used the "plunger" he was able to make it back in only 4 days time in the past I cant say how long he was in the future since it didn't cover that part. Anyway this is my viewpoint, it may have been a whole different meaning then what I explained, but I think this explanation fits well.

The meaning was the "thing" they talked about, was more of a metaphor it was a meaning that the army viewed one dead man is better then a whole population and they would do whatever it took to fight off whatever it was that humanity was facing, even doing experimental cryogenic experiments and as going as far as tapping into a persons mind even if that person would die. The people they where reporting to was the people from the past just 40 years later as he had said at the beginning "see you-

i don't think it was the acting or the dialogue that was bad... no amount of great acting could fix what was a badly written script. great FX tho, I really liked that. Especially /w the budget they had, they did a great job. The cinematography was well done too. But they need to find a better story to film next time. The viewers have no idea what is going on, and for that reason there is no emotional link or intellectual link for the viewers. all i can say after is "wow cool FX"

1) The AI (most likely) would priortize targets by thier level of threat. Since the team are all armed with the same calibre weapons, they all pose the same (low) threat level, so it targets them as it see them. 2) They most likely weren't expecting heavy resistence so they didn't bring heavier weapons 3) Small arms AP rounds are only really effective against 'soft' (body) armour, and the machine is armed with heavy calibre guns...I doubt even an E.O.D. bomb suit would help.

very awesome shot film..but there have a problem with camera control..there have a lot of miss using pan style. cameraman control the cam left to right n left to right again at the same time..people cant focus what the message in that shot. i think cinematography should be more upgrade.

Great production values, but I didn't understand it at all. Why was the guy put in cryo? Did the soldier explode, or was he displaced by a guy coming back from the future? Why did they send in soldiers and give them a time machine? Who built the robot and why, or did some ai construct it because of the singularity? Which parts of the movie took place after the 40 years? Just... what?

Excellent acting performances! Not sure how he went from cryo-chamber occupant to time traveler. His means of departure bore little resemblance to his means of arrival. I would have preferred their infiltration be a scientific research center or outpost rather than the warehouse/powerstation depicted. The spider tank seemed out of place, visuals of a 1997ish vintage. They seemed to have acquired the object they sought, but I know not from where, exactly. It was just suddenly in their possession.

Possible Plot: Singularity generator (time machine) gives vision of, or brings something from, bleak future 40 years from 'present'. Protagonist put in cryostasis to wake up after 40 years to retrieve data and sample(s) from bleak future. Returns via (another) singularity to 'present', assistant in wrong place becomes dispersed as two objects are not to exist in the same space-time. Inadvertently returns with cause of bleak future if vision. Protagonist's memory of incident downloaded for study.
