@@mattdekker5693 Yeah like, I respect it as an indie dev - nobody can make high budget games with great design on day 1 but its silly that some people pretend this has something to do with Turok, its like comparing my unity FPS project to lets say COD. Respect is given but it should be seen as what it is and im sure someone could find joy out of it but in the grand scheme of things it looks rather "mundane" like why would I play this? is what I ask myself

@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi I get that, but here's the thing. There is demand for a new Turok game with all the advancements that graphics and gameplay have made. The problem is that Turok is petty niche among nostalgia hounds and what happens then? Someone says "fine. I'll do it myself". Then the problem becomes, not everyone has the money or resources to make that as good as they'd like. As a result, you get games like this. Is the enemy ai crap? Yes. Are the boss fights underwhelming? Yes. Are the visuals and levels crap? God yes. But considering there are indie "games" that are built entirely out of unaltered store assets or lack so much as an executable file, I would rather someone try and fail than not bother.

I had a nightmare about zombified dinosaurs a year back and I never got over it. I was one the scrubs that had to rescue some kids whose dad was important to making of these things and I did save them. Unfortunately, I wasn’t saved and I had 3 zombie t-rexes on me while I had a broken arm and little to no ammo. It didn’t help that a 4th one with a little bit of intelligence found enjoyment in the hunt. Was scared for months. Now that I see this, I feel alright now but I can’t help but also feel insulted as well

I'm just here for a taste but this reminds me of a little known story arc that I think occurred in the 5th Turok game (the one that was on Gamecube, XBox and PS2). So in the game's opening you are fighting an old cowboy that rides a TRex. I can't remember the details, it's been way too long but it would be the most amazing tie in to Turok if Son and Bone became a series and eventually you find out that who you've been playing as is actually the Dinosaur Hunter's nemesis. It would likely involve buying the ip so I'd say if they did that it's a long way off but it would be sick.
