Nice, for the first time i'm listening 2 Gambian music. I'm shouting a bigup from Suriname ( South America \ Caribbean). Thanks to internet the world is smaller today, I dont have 2 wait on TV or Radio stations. I can choose for myself what to watch and listen 2.

Sona, congratulations on your work. I'm a drum student and I get goosebumps when I put on your bands to listen. Congratulations. Fantastic. I live in the Northeast of Brazil, more precisely in the state of Pernambuco. I wish that one day I can enjoy your live show. Our Lord keep you and accompany you always (All of you).

This spring semester in University, I am taking a class called “Music in Middle East/N. Africa” and this makes me even more excited about this opportunity. I hope to dive as deeply as I can in this subject as a music major. I myself am an Ashkenazi Jewish American man and I find this so fascinating.

I enjoy this video. Her fans were very civilized when they got on stage. She let them have the stage to dance. Tears just flowing in my eyes. I will be visiting the Gambia soon.
