Gong Linna's version uses a head voice , so it sounds softer than Sonam . Sonam's version uses mixed voice, so it sounds more powerful 😃

I wish Gong used mixed voice since she was very capable to do so.

Thanks for making the video about her. Trill and her notes are wonderful. Tibetan singers and Chinese traditional music made me excited. Can you make a similar video for Tan Weiwei? She sang the song with a D6 note.

I think there are couples of them of Tanweiwei's vocal range by other youtubers. I am gonna make some that nobody has done. Yeah. And that D6 sounded like a mixed?!

@@despairingleonardo kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaTKppaNbZpna5Y She sang D6 and C6 notes. Twang makes everything great and simple.

Ohh amazing it sound wonderful but E5s sounded weird like reverse phonation but her G#5-C6 is just nothing for her but her C#5 was pleasant and supported. I like her mid belts

Ya. She was using Tibetan style which always has fast attacked notes. It also features high and big chanting with mixed voice and throat singing with low voice

Attacked notes ! Oh it's too hard to try that one but i like them but it sound painful but her notes are way amazing but she is throaty but it sounds fine for me also i like her mid belts more resonated and powerful thanks ha

Damnnnn... and I thought 谭维维's version was the best I've heard so far! The 青藏高原 B5 will always be the benchmark of Mandopop! Btw, if you're looking for some Mando-R&B music, check Tia Ray 袁娅维 out! Listen to 别废话 Don't Speak!

@@despairingleonardo To me, Sitar is really Mandopop's 摇滚天后. She is so versatile from folk to R&B to rock. Her performance of 乌拉巴托的夜 is my favourite female performance in Singer/I am a Singer China history!

Hi! I have a question : do you know what kind of singing technic is she using?? Is this some sort of throat singing ? Anykind of information would be awesome! Thanks
@despairingleonardo2 жыл бұрын
It's a traditional Tibetan singing technique. They often yodel up and down consecutively at high notes. It's not throat singing , instead they have their placement on the throat . They also mixed a lot of head voice to be able to go flexible on those crazy high notes. Their songs usually include tons of high notes, especially upper belts, they don't use head voice that often, so it's not really for amateur. Correct me if I am wrong...that's all my sole observation
