It's so evident that she is so butthurt of Deepikas success and popularity. Deepika never speaks out of turn and never interputs the interviewer and always speaks when she's being asked a question and takes every harsh question with a lot of grace dignity and poise with a relevant answer whereas Sonam is being obnoxious and rude for the sake of being real. Sonam might have had a silver spoon and a lot of money and luxuray while growing up but money can't buy you grace discipline poise and elegance like Deepika Lara and Shusmita.

She's very pretty but extremely delusional, whiny and defensive. She has a maximum of 2-3 hit films in the past 7 years and she acts like she's the best thing in Bollywood. I recently watched her Khoobsurat and she was easily the weakest link of that movie with her over-the-top and artificial acting. And if we get into the fashion aspect, Kangana has dethroned Sonam a while ago. If Sonam really wants to make a name for herself in Bollywood, she really needs to clean up her attitude and take some acting lessons pronto.

I find this show to be such fluff, but as a time pass I sat and watched a few episodes, forwarding through most of them - (1). KJo was KJo, full of himself, feeling victimized and sorry for himself, as usual hiding a lot but on the whole just what we've come to expect from him through the years of seeing him in the public domain, then, (2). Vidya was sweet, came across a bit like trying to mould into the Bollywood typical mode, but overall came across as an intelligent, smart, talented, well spoken woman, (3). Shruti Haasan was okay, I found her lip job soooo distracting, in side profile it looks misshapen, but once I got over that and focused on her, she's just a regular girl, doing her own thing, kind of insecure but feel like she would be a nice person to hang out with, then (4-7). It's a blur! Alia, Arjun, Parineeti, Sid (?) sort of blurred into one another i.e. nothing so different or unique but on the whole harmless people, and then come the three, who made me face palm soooo much and whom as it is I cannot stand - (8). Kareena Kapoor - air head extraordinaire, but was actually able to sit through her interview. Her typical way is to keep contradicting herself so that what she says today has no value since she will say something else tomorrow, to try and appear intelligent, and then to not even make any attempt to improve herself or her knowledge or be a little less entitled, but overall, she was tolerable and harmless. Then came (9). Kajal, who was her usual it's-cool-to-be-rude self, she actually looked uncomfortable but I sat through the interview somehow...but the one who should be in the Hall of (In)Famy - (10). Sonam Kapoor! Goodness this was the only one where I could not make it through the first few minutes - I just could NOT! Who does this deluded woman think she is - so immature, so entitled, so arrogant, so deluded, so annoying with her whiny voce and who-knows-where-she-picked-it-up-from accent, such a limited vocabulary, such an airhead, so deluded, so rude and impolite, did I mention so DELUDED!? Sonam is insufferable - how do the people around her tolerate her, including her family? I could not even complete the interview, such was the strong urge to give her a front-hand, back-hand and I do not like hitting anyone so that's how irritating she is - I would say that someone should bring her down several pegs by showing her what a brat she is, so talentless with her stone-like overacting and 0 screen presence but no point since her head is so far up her own @ss and she could never fathom how the general public truly views her - she is the epitome of DELUSION!

I love Sonam for her sense of fashion and she is not someone who can pretend to like someone, even if she tries. It is quite evident that she is not a fan of Deepika Padukone and the days when the two sipped 'koffee' and acted like sorority sisters making fun of Deepika's cheating ex are long gone. What I do not like, however, is how vastly and how often Sonam contradicts herself. She manages to do so even in a matter of 22 minutes! Actors want to work with their girlfriends and she lost out on projects the same way producers and directors want to work with star kids at the expense of regular talented nobodys. Has she never starred in an Anil Kapoor Production? Has she never had a role because she knew someone? Coming back to her comment about Deepika Padukone's style, or the lack of it, there is no other way to describe it except called it very mean-spirited. Although she might have given her a back handed compliment in this interview, she did say in the KWK interview that she (DP) does not have a style of her own and incinuated that she is a clothes-horse. Does Sonam not have a stylist and yet she does not hesitate to entitle herself a "fashion icon" and "pretty" without mentioning who put her look together. Her old pictures speak volumes of her personal style as well whcih she conveniently forgets. If she does not like to listen to people's sob stories about their struggles and lack of financial security, if she concentrates on positives, and she is as deep a person as she claims to be, she should seriously stop complaining about her first world problems, being so negative about other people's lives and successes, and feel superior because she (via her stylist) can aptly put her looks together. I am not hiding behind the internet to slander Sonam's reputation. I feel like lately she has been so obnoxious and disrespectful of her collegues, she needs to take a step back and evaluate because I used to like her.

When you listen to the entire interview, it's easy to understand why she got defensive and gave those responses... It's like a case study of what not to do in an interview if you don't want to tick off your guest. First thing he asked her was "What do you think about what I'm wearing??" Off to a bad start... Her clothing choices are just that---her choices. It's like how we want to make a statement with what we wear. She takes her platform to express herself but it's obvious she's sensitive to the fact that people criticise her and mock her for that. She kept trying to explain that, saying if you have to try so hard and if you find it so stressful then you're not being yourself whereas for her, those clothing choices are just a fun part of who she is as a person and comes naturally to her and her sister. He didn't take the hint. To pin her down from the get go, reflecting on the criticism people give her so often with that fashionista tag in spite of her body of work she has put in, is insulting. She and her sister have been gutsy enough to try and produce films themselves and had to go to other people to get investments for those films as well. It's not like Anil Kapoor just sat back and dished out money for them to make movies. They experimented and were successful. So many others have tried and failed. Just because someone is from a film family, doesn't mean they're guaranteed success. They need to put in their work as well and build their own personal brand which Sonam is doing really well and doesn't get half the credit she should get. Did she have to struggle like people who come without any film family backing? Perhaps not. But since when is it a requirement to be in the industry? And he kept trying to ask her about films that tanked when she kept saying "I prefer to focus on the positives and I don't look back". Again, he failed to pick up on that. She already answered the question and he kept going back to the same question. He kept trying to focus on the negatives. A film is not 'her' responsibility alone is it? Also, look at her body language. She's clearly feeling negative about this interview and I honestly can't say I blame her. Look at comments people have given her under this video. No matter what she does or what she says, people only look for her faults. She's also human and gets hurt like any one of us. It's like for people, she can do no right. People only look for her faults. Damned if I don't damned if I do so for her to have that "I'll give back as good as I get" indifferent, defensive tone is very relatable you know??

You seem to be a die hard fan/ family member/ PR of hers. The reason he asked her about his clothes is because she is always giving unwanted opinions to others about what should someone wear, what looks good and what does not. Even farhan Akhtar once said she criticized his tie color the moment she saw him instead of greeting him at some party. So it was a jibe he took at her which you are too foolish to understand. Not everyone who is narrating that they gave 5000 auditions are painting a sorry picture for themselves. And the films she is boasting about raanjhana and bhaag milkha did not work in the BO cos of her. Those were good movies with a strong screenplay and amazing actors. She lives in her own bubble where she feels people have come to watch her movies whereas its not the case. And niranjan has asked everybody about how they feel when their movies don't do well. You pick any interview that question is constant. Only she is the one taking offense to it and biting his head off. There is nothing wrong with focusing only on positives. A film is not her responsibility, true, but to feel that your films worked cos people loved you in it is really foolish. Ahot Fungroove I think most of the star kids get work due to their fathers connections. An actor who has no connections can not survive in the industry for 10 years like she did without giving us some awesome movies like Kangana R and Vidya B. For me Kangana and Vidya are the real stars and who can act and still be humble.

There are many star kids that couldn´t sustain even so long despite the connections. She did even though her career was in a bad phase for a certain time. That´s the definition of a star. Not taking away from Vidya & Kangana. They are stars too. & very few actresses gave movies like these two. Why single Sonam out? Endorsements you won´t get because of who your father is. You will get them if the companies believe you´ll sell the products. Which is why some great actors do not have any. my goodness--why is it that whenever you watch a bollywood celebrity --all the people on comment section are usually attacking the celeb--be it the accent(everyone has different tone of voice and when u speak hindi and when u do english--its completely different) or atacking them on the way they talk about themself--its their interview, they are supposed to talk about themself--just cause they have high opininon of them and believe in themselves in-spite of others throwing hate on them --i think its pretty admirable.i have noticed sonam does get a lot of hate but she still talks her mind --so its kinda refreshing.rant over .lol coming back to the interview--so far i have seen sid, arjun, vidya,her and shruti--and this was the best one so far --maybe its cause sonam literally took over the interview.i dont think niranjan is that good of a interviewer, or its just the questions he ask--they are not very in-depth, they are very superficial.and the people moving during the interview from one place to another, its a bit jarring and actually losses the pace.i dunno , maybe this show is not for me i guess

A high opinion of oneself is ok if you are very good at ur profession or very talented in any particular craft like music , dance writing etc or very beautiful or very sexy ...... sonam thinks highly of herself because of anil kapoor! yes anil kapoor is a great actor but at the end of the day she is a different person... for a few years she was given liberty .... but even after 7-8 yrs she has not been able to prove herself as an actress....audience's money is wasted and thats sad....sonam is a bad actress......she seems like she is more interested in fame and fashion... nothing is wrong with that, but she can do many things for fame and also she can be famous in fashion industry!...she talks good english but lets be honest, this in a hindi film industry ... her hindi comes out very urban and it doesn't sound good.. its irritating... there are many reasons why sonam is put on a spot ... she may be a good person with a nice personality, but at the end of the day, bollywood is primarily about acting, dancing and looks (face n body) .... all these 3 points of sonam are weak... if the audience doesn't get them, they feel they have wasted money .........just style and fashion come way later ..hope you think about it without a prejudice!
