In the two valleys of Himachal, the local government contractor and local people cut over 8000 trees. Imagine how many trees have been cut and are being cut in the thousands of valleys of the Himalayas. Those who live in these valleys can hear the sounds of chainsaw machines day and nights,even the forest guards and officers also hear.Everyone know it's mili bhagat. this wood is put up in your homes, bungalows or hotels and many of them are used for bonefire,Then the glacier would not melt?people of the plains are not responsible for this?No political party is sensitive Today there is so much demand for wood at the local level that it is not going to be stopped by any tribal status or schedule. Right now look there are protests going on in Shimla and entire Himachal, saying Save Himachal, is this protest to save the glacier? Or politics separatiam Or fake insecurity? And dont forget some powerful opportunists of gadhwaal nd kumaon region in Uttrakhand have started anti religious and separatist propaganda in their state.
