My dear fellow fans! They had to lower the key of the song cause of Tony but I think it only put the song into a different perspective. This is my favourite song on this spotless album and I don't feel offended by this version. My favourite vocal parts in the end are there so please give it another go cause this version is not bad at all.

The only reason this version is bad is because of the sound mixing. If there was better audio production this album would be very good.

I don't think they actually changed it, it's just that you can hear the lead voice more instead of the higher harmonies 😊

tmd02 I actually prefer the original, especially with the extra intro they played with it live from 2000 to 2003, but I like this version a lot as well, unlike the remake of Kingdom of a Heart.

Well, you can clearly hear, that they've grown up over the years, and they've made an 8 year journey in a different style. I'm not saying this is bad. This new refrain is quite good, for me atleast. And also, in the original, the intro was messed up badly :)) They didn't find the ritm. But the mixing is so mediocre imo. Too blunt. And something's missing. I'm not searching for the enthusiasm they had back in 1999. Of course I'm not, they were young back then, and only Tony and Tommy were there. But I don't hear Tony enjoying this that much, as I want to hear. And that's sad, cause in an interview he said, that the old Sonata is back, but I don't hear it here :/ Well, hope we can hear something like Reckoning Night in the next album (not counting Pariah in, obviously.)

Unpopular opinion but I vastly prefer this version to the original. The original is so messy and Tony’s vocals sound really rough to me. Here it’s toned down some but much more crisp and legible. I say this as a Sonata fan from the early albums. The original never really appealed to me but this version just stays in my head. It’s great.

One could argue that it's worse (in general I prefer the original versions to the revisited ones, but it's easier for me to play revisited ones on the guitar due to the lower pitch), but come on dude, you've got all the originals to listen, you don't have to be so over dramatic about things. I know this is a year old, but It's really tiresome reading the same stuff over and over whenever you check the comment section on revisited songs, you dont like it alright, but destroying memories of modern classics wtf? I listen to all versions and I know what I prefer and when, what you say doesn't make any sense.
