The thing about spiritual marriage is, most of the time it's only one of them taking it serious. Legal marriages hold both accountable.

No honey. I'm legally married and it is far from a business. If you're not certain, do both. Ppl don't often take spiritual marriages seriously. They see it as a way to satisfy one party without the legal entanglement. Be smart out here folks.

You can get a confidential marriage license. You just have to travel to and file in that state. Then only you, your partner, spirit (& the government) know your business and civilians don’t have access to that knowledge.

I see a lot of people are agreeing to what she's saying, but yet and still she's not married legally or spiritually, and most of you guys who agree with what she's saying is neither married spiritually or legally. If that isn't an oxymoron I don't know what is and if that isn't contradiction on her part I don't know what is because she spoke on this in a previous video and now she's contradicting herself and this video. Can’t it be both tho? Unless it’s a polygamy-type situation where it “can’t” be legalized, your marriage can and should financially benefit both parties. Totally agree the spiritual side is just as important, if not moreso, than the “legal”

@@DynamicUnreal fair. But it also depends on the individuals. It doesn’t seem YOU think this way, but there are some men (and/or women) who believe in (even prefer) 50/50-that’s one (of many) reason(s) why “Black Macho” advocates for women to be financially self-sufficient

Black Macho does talk about women being financially independent and about men being "maintainers" instead of providers, but the overwhelming majority of women in the comments disagree with this. I wish most women would be about that 50/50 life but it's not reality.

@@LetGo0007 I understand all that. I'm discussing that with a friend of mine who is ill. I'm jist saying in the big scheme of things. There is always a hurdle you have to cross if you skirt around let's say a state sanctioned marriage. I think 2 states recognized spiritual marriages which is fine but I think most things these days are a scam anyway.

I’m 42 years old; I’ve been with my children’s Father for 18 years- We have a beautiful, smart, hardworking, respectful 16 year old Daughter and and an incredibly kind hearted, compassionate, empathetic, highly energized 6 year old Son. Never in a million years did I think I’d be an unmarried stay at home Mom at 42 years old and throughout the majority of the years we’ve been together, I’ve been pretty content with our arrangement (for the most part). Although I’ve always struggled with the type of message we’re sending our children. Specifically our 16 year old Daughter; as I don’t want her to think having children out of wedlock, buying a home, basically doing it all backwards as we did, is “normal”. Mostly because I don’t want her to depend on a man as I have her Father. Which brings me to my other mental struggle- I’ve been so blessed to be given the opportunity to stay home and raise both of my children…. Luckily their Father has a job that allows us this privilege. So I’ve always taken care of the children, doctor’s, dentists, orthodontist appointments, school functions, extra curricular activities, all the cooking, laundry, cleaning, etc. But now that my Sons in school full time, I feel lost; as I have no career to fall back on; as I stopped going to college when l became pregnant with my daughter and never went back. I did work in the school system for about 7 years; prior to having my Son. But that’s it.. I don’t own this beautiful home we live in (although, my name is first on the title or deed, I can’t remember which one. I don’t own our cars, etc. So if my fiancé were to meet someone and decide he no longer wanted to be with me, I’d be screwed. As mentioned above, we have an incredible relationship (in fact, more stable than most of our legally married friends). But I’m smart enough to understand we’re never guaranteed tomorrow and although I don’t believe for a second he’d leave me high and dry, it’s definitely something I think about from time to time. So I really don’t know where to go from here- I’ve got one child whose almost in college and the other who just starting elementary school. Maybe I’ll take this time to go back to school and earn my degree?…or I’ll get a job/ get some income flowing and perhaps we can finally get married? It’s something we’d both like to do. It just hasn’t been a priority of ours. But I do think this would not only give me security. But most importantly, it would set a better example for our children.

Spiritual marriage can happen with someone you don’t know. Spiritual marriages can transpire between a human and a spiritual entity. This is all because it’s spiritual are not something tangible on the 3d plane. It’s because your spirit recognizes the connection.

😂 Glorified struggle love. There are way too many benefits to legal marriage for both parties that I would never settle for a “spiritual” one. If you’re “spiritual husband/wife” is sick you’re not able to make any decisions or advocate for their care. No information is required to be released to you. A spouse can be added to your medical insurance not a spiritual one. The financial tax breaks you receive keeps more income within your home. I won’t write a book, but don’t fall for the BS.

Sounds great in theory but as someone who works for the government; I'd like the same person I'm spiritually tied with to be able to make some tangible and financial decisions if I'm ill or gone. If I trust you that much this country only recognizes what they can verify on paper.
