OMG, who gave this video a thumbs down??? Go back to bed and get up on the right side! I absolutely ***LOVE*** waking up to a new uke tune every other day, and totally get the logic to the order of the songs being presented. In case anyone thinks this song is too slow or too simple for this step in the challenge, it takes discipline to play at a slow, even tempo. It's human nature to rush through things with which we're not yet comfortable. Also, for beginners, some of these chord changes and positions can be difficult. Playing slow and clean can be more demanding, not to mention more noticeable when a mistake is made, than playing fast and muddy. I can't believe someone doesn't like this. There must be KAOS agents and/or saboteur trolls at work.

I'm loving how I'm using the side fret markers! Didn't fall prey to the look up! YAY!

My ancient uke doesn't have side markers. I'm actually developing muscle memory. You will too when you move past looking at the side markers. This challenge is only 1/3 of the way through and I'm already noticing a huge improvement in my playing. Furthermore, I'm not bored. I'm inspired and motivated. Bernadette and the group make it so much FUN. I've never seen a more joyful lot. This is like play. These lessons and the group have restored my faith in humanity.

Wow! That Fmaj7 to the Gm is super hard! But I'm loving the big challenge for a newbie like me...and it is a beautiful song! I've pretty much only done songs with Am C F G and G7, so this one is pretty challenging for my fingers that need to work on new muscle memory. Thanks!

Thank you for this great series! I am following the uke challenge now. Somehow my brain never can remember how to distinguish between chords with any words or numbers accompanying their chord letter, for example: Fmaj7, Gm7, G7, Csus4, etc. Even with lots of practice, my mind blanks when I have to tell them apart on cue while playing - what is a nice tip for remembering these clearly and distinctly from each other?
