At the age of 16 i just bumbed a guy on on a motorcycle. I watched him slide to his demise. I watched him in pain as they took him to the emergency room. The demo made me cry. The DEMO! Please, PLEASE finish this game! I’m so moved by what little we know and how much we DON’T know about Garrett’s story, certainly I’m not the only one. I was crying when this played during the demo. What Garrett has is what I always wanted to have - a life away from everyone, in peace. After seeing the demo, I don't know anymore. It's not because I am scared that a dead couple will follow me at night to attack, but it's because I know that living alone will only worsen my mental health.

David, you have something wonderful here. I've played through half a dozen times and am documenting the scares. My last one was wild as I got the diseased couple midway through out in the meadow with the barn. I read your pinned post on steam about financing. FWIW, I say keep it Indy, be the auteur on this, don't let some mid level studio compromise your vision or water the game down with committee trite. Do you need investors? I can inject at least a grand into your project right now. Would be more than happy to just so I can (selfishly) get the completed game!

There's nothing better than a horror game that appeals to the emotions, and not just pure, unadulterated fear. This song, the "I'm just so tired...and I have so many years left. What am I gonna do?"... There are only three games that have managed to bring a tear to my eye in 20 years: the two Red Dead Redemption games, and this one. Hit way too close from home ig. Can't wait to see where the game takes us. Edit: 24 hours ago, the man with whom I'd shared my life for 5 years and with whom I thought I'd be forever left me. Nothing, nothing, hits closer to home than this song right now. I don't know where I'll be, or if I'll be when the full game comes out, but I hope it meets with the success it deserves. That song is a masterpiece and I loved the demo. I think it should have ended with the end of the song, seeing the silhouettes in the fields that disappear when you approach them made me pretty sentimental, because I wanted to know more about Garretts backstory and what happened to his parents, his friends and why he chose that lonely life. The little sequence after this song and having to "just reach the end of the day" felt misplaced for me, that would have been a perfect ending. I can't wait to get a full release of the game.
