I met Haley once and got to hang with her and Casey Abrams for a bit of an afternoon. She's super down to earth, has a great sense of humor and always blows you away when she takes the stage

Haley is known for her 'one takes'. This video was recorded 8 days after Haley joined PMJ in Berlin on their 2015 European Tour, Haley's first professional tour after leaving Idol. Haley joined PMJ w/ her first video 'Habits" in Feb 2015, she joined the tour in March. PMJ had recorded "Creep" months before. A few days after joining the tour, Haley asked Scott if she could sing their "Creep" Cover which she debuted in Lyon, France. The audience was in stunned silence until bursting into applause at the end. PMJ toured Europe for 7 days after Haley joined them, their day off in Switzerland where Scott decided to do something he'd not done before, re-record songs he'd already recorded, Creep and All About That Bass, this time both with Haley. So basically in a week after her joining her first professional tour, Haley and Scott recorded their top two videos in a studio in Switzerland, Creep and All About That Bass. It’s just PMJ filming their stage show, they are a touring group and perform these songs every night in their tours. Presently “Creep” is being performed by Effie Passero in this current tour and her interpretation of Scott’s arrangement is also next level impressive. Go see them when they are in your area, you’ll realize that there is still real talent out there just not in today’s commercial music industry

I flew to the UK to see Haley w/ PMJ, I got to see Creep live before the video came out in April. I could not hold my camera steady I was shaking so hard at the performance. I think you should know, Haley and PMJ sing the "F-cking special" when they perform the song live. They don't do it for the video for obvious business reasons. One way you can tell if a live video is before or after the video was released? Before the video was released, people didn't know what to expect, after the video was released, live crowds would often cheer or whoop when Haley sings 'the lyric' because many fans of the original song expects the 'original lyric' instead of 'so VERY special'.

It's easily a ten for me. I search for first reactions to Haley and this song because it's always a treat to see and hear the amazement of people hearing it for the first time. This, and The Warning (band of three sisters from Mexico) doing Enter Sandman back in 2014 when they were 14, 12 and nine years old and then again seven years later as a part of the Metallica Blacklist album are amazing reactions. I'd add the young Irish classic rockers covering Cream's Crossroads, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, Rory Gallagher's Cradle Rock and then to see the cover Simon and Garfunkel's Homeward Bound or CSNs Helplessly Hoping are just great reactions. If you do The Warning, expect a huge jump in your subscribers as the Warning Army will swarm with suggestions, background info and everything you ever wanted to know about Villarreal sisters from Monterrey.

10 x10 - yes, the audio was recorded live together with the video, it was at a hotel room in Switzerland during a day off touring Europe. This was the last recording of the day, initially Haley hesitated, feeling tired from performing several days in a row and recording the whole day, but Brad convinced her they could do it in one take... there's a nice little video on Brad's channel where he tells the story of this historical recording...

IMHO you hit upon one of the greatest music videos from anyone, any genre, any style anywhere on youtube. 1-10 this is an 10 with as much more emphasis as I can infer. I challenge anyone to find 10 better music performance videos that would keep this out of a Top 10. And to answer your question, I have been told that Haley had just arrived in the sudio-set you see here after a long flight and was feeling a little off... I had never heard of this song before YT popped the PMJ video into my feed a few years ago. I may have heard of Radiohead but never knew anything about them. So for me, this is the definitive version. I can say that the song is almost meaningless to me, I didn't like the Radiohead version when I finally heard it and I love hearing Hailey sing it over and over, not for the song but for her skill. Morgan James, who also sings with PMJ is just as good but a different style.

Definitely wouldn't say it's better. It's different and it's amazing. But the original is/was legendary. Anyone might prefer one to the other, but that's true for any revision of a song. Keep in mind if it weren't a terrific song to begin with, PMJB wouldn't have bothered covering it. I love both versions.

Haley's got a beautiful voice, and her cover of Creep is amazing. For me it's really high, when it comes to the rating score. However I've heard numerous covers of Creep done by so many people. In which some of the covers are awesome, and some not so much, but all in all I still gotta stand with the original version by RadioHead. So I'll give her a 9.5 🤘🤘🎶🤘🤘
