Lazarus, Heart attack in a Lay-by , Start of something beautiful, sound of Muzak, Collapse the light Into Earth, My Ashes, Fear of a blank planet, Lightbulb sun, Hatesong, Russia on ice, there are just loads of great PT songs.

@@jirikrajnak9047 There are not really any I don’t like but I picked those which they had not done which I thought were good intros to the range of the band. Why not flag those that you like too. I will be more than happy if they react to them, the more the merrier.

Fear of A Blank Planet… incredible album from start to finish. I’d also recommend .3 …Colin Edwin’s bass riff is amazing

Steven Wilson’s catalogue is incredible, you should also react to his other projects. From his solo project you should react to Luminol, Raider II, Routine, The Watchmaker, Ancestral, The Holy Drinker, The Raven That Refused To Sing From Blackfield - From 44 to 48, Blackfield, Once, 1,000 People, End Of The World From PT - Mellotron Scratch with Open Car right after it, Time Flies, Way Out Of Here, Russia On Ice, Normal, Remember Me Lover, Blackest Eyes, Shesmovedon, Pure Narcotic

Funny thing is, Steven Wilson is a happy person in real life. I think he vents all of his negative emotions into music and it's therapy for him. It's the same thing as a filmmaker creating a gruesome horror film. It doesn't mean they're demented in real life.

Every time I stop in to listen, there is one dislike. I gotta imagine there is one guy out there somewhere who is just waiting to hear a specific song before he gives his thumbs up. At any rate... thanks for doing what you guys do. Keep it up. (audio was fine for me)

I'm pretty sure you're the first person to do this song on KZbin. 🤘🤘🤘 I think you'd love 'Time Flies' or 'Russia on Ice' by them.

Haha that 'creepiness' you're talking about is why I fell for PT and SW in the first place. When I started listening to Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree I felt very... Strange. On the one side, I didn't really like the music at first. I didn't get it. But on the other side, SW's music kind of haunted me, even back when I didn't really liked it: I never forgot, I kept coming back for more. I still don't entirely get it, SW's music had some kind of haunting beauty in it. Opeth has it too. I didn't like them at first, but something in their music was kind of hauntingly beautiful. Now, these two together with Riverside are my topthree, and have been for a long, long time.

Deadwing was the height of Porcupine Tree's experimentation with prog-metal and this is one of the heaviest songs. To me it makes it also one of the least interesting as it lacks the dynamics of other PT songs and feels more formulaic. Still very good, but my tastes lean more towards the songs that really experiment with and blend genres. From Deadwing, Mellotron Scratch and Glass Arm Shattering are my personal favorites and are far more musically expressive and interesting. Keep the Porcupine Tree coming! Would love to see you explore some of their earlier work from the albums Stupid Dream or Lightbulb Sun.

Also, your sound quality was just fine! If you hadn't said anything I wouldn't really have noticed anything was different.

Try wheel cracking new band, tool vibes complex rhythms n hard metal sections. They released their new album resident human yesterday so many solid tracks on there. Try the track dissipating the opener which is almost 12 mins a track to remember

Sound seemed fine to me. The feeling of loneliness in the modern World is a recurring theme in Steven Wilson's work, particularly in his solo album 'Hand Cannot Erase', which I would thoroughy recommend reacting to in full (if you have time!). He has an uncanny knack of drawing an emotional response from the listener. Routine perhaps the finest example, but perhaps you should prepare yourself gradually for that!

Is bad news? I think it sounds better with that mic than the other one. I would recommend you to buy a condenser microphone rather than a dynamic, sounds cleaner and you don't have even to get too much closer to capture the audio. Anyways, great video
