How was it very close? Song picked him apart and made chito miss most of his shots. Chito did good at the last 30 secs of second and 3rd round but even in the 3rd round song was there connecting with whatever he threw.

Sean had zero say on who he fights. UFC saw the payday from the rematch even tho Vera has no business fighting for a title right now. Whoever they say is next, Sean is gonna have to fight plain and simple. They didn’t let Leon avoid Colby and etc. Just like Stipe/Jones, if the UFC wants it, they will get it regardless of what the fans want. No one wants Jones/Old Stipe but they are gonna hold up the division for another 2 years for it.

The truth is those guys have tons of fans and UFC management wants them to win. They want Jon to retire as the "undefeated" GOAT and they want Sean to be the next big thing so yeah, they're going to give them easy/money fights before actual competition. UfC has been heading in this direction for years unfortunately. I don't disagree with you but I'm also not surprised that UFC is chasing money rather than being a legitimate sport where the best fight the best. Those days are long gone.

Chito won it was pretty clear, also to say Chito was training for 6 months is ridiculous. Yes, Song was very young, but they've both improved and they both have slow pace styles given Song's performance against Gutierrez I think Chito wins still.
