Tom Blyth really showed his personality more in this interview. I think Hunter talking about him dancing in the club and Kelly's positive response to it let the door open for him to feel more comfortable to express himself. I like it, and I like this cast, great movie too

Honestly this film really exceeded my Expectations and this cast did phenomenal. Even if you haven’t read the book and only seen the movies it does such an amazing job in unpacking Snow. And I was BLOWN AWAY with Rachel as Lucy. Say what you want but she was a perfect cast. So glad she took the role.

This movie alone made me fall in love with the whole hunger games universe, I was 18 when the first hunger games came out and I loved it so much that came back to rewatch it again with another friend in theatres. Then after that I have never really watched (not even catching fire when it came out) or read anything at all from that universe, I just thought that it was fun, but didn’t understand the depth at the time. Then 12 years later I randomly went on a movie date with myself and watched the song birds and snakes without even really knowing what’s it about - and omg, after that I watched all 4 first hunger games, read the books, and as for now I have also read like 7-8 fan fictions too! Love it! Thank you guys for bringing back hunger games! It’s HG renaissance you’all❤

I loved this movie but felt like there was something missing in the fallout between the two main characters. He risked everything for her and she switches on him in a hot minute!

I think they actually did really well showing Lucy Gray drifting from him! As a character, she was always aware of his darker side, right back to when he gave her the rat poison. But when they reunite in 12 there are moments shown where Lucy Gray notices this darkness evolving. For example, in the tavern fight scene where Corio loses control, there’s that momentary look of horror from her. There’s the argument they have by the lake, and then also when he shoots the mayor’s daughter. Lucy Gray is visibly shaken and doubtful of him in both of these instances. We see her become much less comfortable around him, and much more wary. The nail in the coffin is when he tells her he’s killed three people, and when she asks who the third was, she can tell he’s lying when he answers her. Cut to the cabin and he’s wielding a gun…I think I’d also run if a man I’d loved but had killed three people and clearly enjoyed hurting others to an extent was holding a gun in close proximity. It’s a moment of duress where her fear of him is more powerful than her love for him. I really enjoyed the subtlety of her emotions!
