*This song is a masterpiece. It takes me back to late 2OO4 when I broke up with my girlfriend Nicola. This song was either already out, or just released, because I heard it on the radio quite a lot back then. I can vividly remember driving my car and this song coming on, I had to pull over to the side of the road and just bawled my eyes out. The tears started every time I heard it come on the radio. I'm so sorry Nicola. You we're such a beautiful human being and I was an idiot who didn't appreciate what I had with you and I will regret that for the rest of my life. I still love you and will to the day I die, even though it's been 2O years since we broke up. It was my fault and I just want to say sorry. This song will forever remind me of you. Dan the Man. Understanding his love for his wife and her many health challenges make this song so much more meaningful. People think marriage is this picture perfect thing like in the movies but it requires so much sacrifice, patience and understanding. This song captures that so beautifully. The line "you may need me there to carry all your weight" is one of the most amazing lines. I saw him in concert and when he sang that line I couldn't help but cry. He sang it with such care and feeling.
