There are five scenarios I can think of where you MUST know a song if you consider yourself intermediate: 1. Campfire: Tracy Chapman - Fast Car or Blackbird - The Beatles 2. Impressing your friends: Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home or One - Metallica 3. For your own enjoyment: Metallica - Fade to Black or I could have lied - RHCP 4. Trying to get a girl: Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah or Safe and Sound - Taylor Swift 5. When you have the girl: Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
@astralmiind5 жыл бұрын
Something to know about learning songs like fast car, really FEEL the melody, take it slow. Once you understand the melody and what mood the song is trying to achieve, the groove makes it sooo much easier to play and understand. Side note, TUNING BRO

Bruh, queen songs are legit what you need to start out with. Getting the strutting and solos in are no problem. Crazy little thing called love is basically just a D chord that’s modified every 3 struts. Bohemian rhapsody has an easy to learn solo, and we will rock you is hard, but sooooo fun to play. Even keep yourself alive, or Liar are fun.

watch out for those cables! when you sit on the bed to play you can see that they bend really hard against the surface of the bed. It's good to get a right-angled cable or just sit more off the bed with guitars that have their jacks coming out of the side. I definitely fucked up my first guitars jack over the years from this. Either use a right-angled cable or sit off the bed a bit more and you'll find yourself going through way fewer cables! You may even end up avoiding having to replace that socket on your guitar in the coming years because they do get damaged over time. By the way, you are doing really well! keep playing man we'd love to hear more.
