Great analysis. One of my favourite Kate songs, with some great lines. "Living in the gap between past and future" - I have been there, in that phase of a relationship where you sense something is going to end, but it hasn't quite done so yet. Where you've lost what you once had, but you haven't yet moved on. Truly, "A little piece of hope won't hold it together".

Thanks for the comment. It became my favorite Kate song for reasons I went over, but before this, I think Cloudbusting was my favorite, based on the video. (Chocolate and I talked about this at lunch because "Running up that Hill" came on over the speaker system in the restaurant, and he asked if I was going to a video on it. Instead, we'll do all the other songs except "Running..." and "Mother ..." because (a) I couldn't get into the latter and (b) I got tired of the former as everyone was glomming on to it as the end-all, be-all--and there's so much more to her catalog.)

Absolutely. I kinda recognize a couple of the others, but couldn't tie a name to them. I also didn't want to go through the history of Dave and Kate, instead leaving that to the first song from The Kick Inside that I cover (which might be Moving). Bu thanks for the response. I consider his presence to be an Easter egg 😜

@@Mellocore That would be the best Easter ever :) The others I recognise are Del Palmer, bassist and sound engineer and Kate's partner at the time, and her brother Paddy Bush.
