I personally am around a grade 2 ABRSM which is like 2 years worth of practice and isnt that advanced in the grand scheme of piano players, but the first one and second one seem like theyre pretty easy though take a lot of hours to practice at my level. Typically fast songs arent very hard cause they require muscle memory and have a very basic chord progression that will repeat and so it makes the overall song a lot easier to learn

As a pianist, Czardas is NOT easy. Maybe I just suck, but its the tempo of the song that makes it so hard to play, specifically the left hand. Though, don't take this too seriously, I just thought I'd share a bit. Difficulty between pieces can vary between pianist to pianist.

La Campanella is one of my favourite pieces to play on the violin!
@rawkhawk41415 күн бұрын
The piano version was actually written by Liszt in response to his respect and admiration for Paganini's virtuosity on the violin. As a piano player, I prefer the violin version in both tone and quality. It's almost impossible to play Liszt's version without sounding like a drunk villain hammering keys. Now this is a bit of jealousy for those who CAN, but I've rarely ever seen anyone play it for piano without sounding: stressed, strained, messy. I've come ot the conclusion that it's the piece and the way it's written, not just the technique required. That same quality of LIszt on the other hand perfectly matches his, imo, best piece ever: Hungarian Rhapsody 2.

@@KingSlayer21_0 I am not a professional piano player but you needn't be one to be familiar with the most famous organ piece of all time. My brother however is a professional organist so you're...ahem...preaching to the choir lol. I grew up playing this obscure game called Dragon Quest by the indie developer Enix. In that game the theme for Tantagel Castle was inspired by Toccata and Fugue (as lots of video game and cinema music is). Specifically the Fugue. I was 6 at the time and played it lots. So for me it'll always be that. Very regal and nostalgic. Besides it's really only the Toccata that has that "Dracula" quality to it. But this is purely subjective obviously. I was just a little taken aback by "I'm a professional piano player that's how I know" as if one's expertise should be called upon to justify one's subjective feelings? But it's not necessary. :) Cheers. (p.s. I suppose I've always thought of Dracula as either a Romantic or someone heavily into Bartok lol, not quite so Baroque)
