I love all the songs that come with good melody and lyrics, I expect both to be good, melody and lyrics. E.g: Lonely by Akon, Sorry blame it on me by Akon, Thank you by Dido, White Flag by Dido, Lose yourself by Eminem, Way Back Into Love (the song from the movie Musics and Lyrics), I don't want to miss a thing by AeroSmith, Viva Forever by Spice Girls, Graduation by Vitamin C. All goodies from 80s, 90s seem to be good songs to me such as Always by Jon Bon Jovi, It must have been love by The Roxette, Amazing by Aerosmith, Seasons in the Sun, 500 Miles, Imagine by John Lennon, Every breath you take by the Police, What's up by 4 None Blondies, Live Live You Were Dying, I Should Have Been True (country songs, can't remember the name of the band who did it) Last Christmas, Careless Whisper by Wham, even Tarzan Boy by the Bantimore etc, just to name a few. BTW, Wes seems to be cut out to be a good actor, he seems do well with the songs.

The first time I saw "I were" I was really confused, but after thinking a while I realized that it actually works the same way in Swedish, my mother tongue. I saw "if I were" on an old postcard, sent to my Grandmother in 1912 from London, England. I have to share, it's so cute! I wish I were a china cup In which you drink your tea Then I'd know at every sup You'd give a kiss to me. 😘☕ I also must tell, my No. 1 music is SPARKS. A group, or more likely two brothers from LA, CA, Ron and Russell Meal, who bring in what musicians they need for the moment. They have been active since late sixties, still going strong, a new album will be released pretty soon. I can't understand why they aren't played more ( if at all!) on the radio and much better known. Really good music, many really catchy songs on every one of their 23 studio albums. And, in this case especially, very clever lyrics. Very easy (lyrics in the comments) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/poPFdHeHaNySnbM Full lyrics in the info: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZubg6qBrc90n9U More lyrics (in the comments!) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZ2mpY2Ipr50f80 This is only three of nearing 300 songs, but this is where I improve my vocabulary! I have learned A LOT! OF COURSE this IS NOT in disdain or anything near that! 💐 Your choice of songs are great!!😍 Some new to me and some making fantastic memories popping up!

I took a second listening to the new ones (to me, that is). 1. A Weird Al I never heard, thanks a lot! Who can't but love him and his craziness? A very appropriate song as well. Please don't give up on us! (By the way, he's a friend of the Meal brothers of Sparks😉) 2. Isn't it a little flaw in the lyrics to 'The devil went down to Georgia'? I can't really put it together at 01:16 , the word "resined"? Sounds like "rolled" but that makes no sense at all??? Any idea? Or is he just pronouncing it slurred?

That's a good question Anna. That's a typo in those song lyrics. They say "as he rosined up his bow," which is a term used when something (bow) is hitting against a stringed instrument. 👍

@@InteractiveEng, Thanks a lot! I was sure it was "ro.."something, probably ending "ed", so that makes sense now. Someone wrote the lyrics a bit too fast 😂! You three, have a nice day, I'll say Good Night!

Hello from France! I suggest Turn me on by Norah Jones and Suzanne by Leonard Cohen. Both are slow with poetic lyrics. Thanks for your video! Your Channel is great!

Additionally, I would say that other collection of songs that I really like is the one that comes from the movie Shrek since because they introduce songs from the 80's such as YMCA, I am a believer, etc.

Hi Wes! I was listening to your suggestions of choosing a song that we like. Well, my favourite song comes from Disney movies, for example, the one that I love is "Frozen" with the song "Let it go" or another that comes from a famous movie: "Rocky I, II, III" with the song "Eyes of the tiger". Those are really cool songs for me because I enjoy the music and the lyrics as well. Thanks a lot for sharing your tips!
