Jonathan Groff has theater experience so it makes sense that he projects more when he sings. Plus I think this was Cory’s first role where he sings. The improvement in him over the years was definitely impressive. 2:10

Thank you for defending Cory. He did a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful job both personally and professionally, giving the living hell he's been through and regardless of it. And his growing up journey is just astonishing to witness. I have a tattoo dedicated to him and he inspires and protects me every single day. It's not my place to miss him but I do. I really, really miss him.

The ballet scene is because one of Jesse's lines was about if she was doing arabesques and plies in ballet club, to do them far away from him. The Run Joey Run thing and the love triangle really hurt his feelings.

Jonathan & Lea are experienced singers, this is Cory's first singing role. I love Cory's voice, and how much stronger it gets as the series goes on. Jonathan & Lea are always so good, especially when they sing together.
@gizemuzay95312 жыл бұрын
They have the ballet scene because they were both very competitive and they danced since they were very young so it is honouring the fact when they are in glee club there is other boys lea joined to sing with and they sing with them as well and jessie does not seem happy about that but while they are dancing they are similar with being competitive with loving the ballet and their ambition so they are the only ones who are singing yet Jessie’s broken heart +scheme he had going with her mom and other people pulling them away from each other is represented. So it means even if they are having an open communication there is no other parties affect on them they cant be together anymore

I think that Finn and Rachel are end game... well, they would have been if Cory hadn't tragically passed away, at least! However, over the series, Jessie really grew on me and I really cheered him on, loving seeing him on the show. I'm glad that since they couldn't make Finn and Rachel a couple in the end, she ended up being with Jessie. He's really quite compatible with her and really keep her on her toes. I love seeing him on the show and listening to the songs that he sings, either alone, with Vocal Adrenaline or with Finn and/or Rachel! Also, Aubrey, your editor has sass, which I absolutely love - it cracks me up and I look forward to it!

This is season 1, so yeah it's way back. They do ballet because Rachel and Jesse apparently practice ballet together, which I think they added only to make this number. I love this song, especially Jonathan's parts and Lea's amazing ofc. Cory did a good job, especially since he hadn't sung a lot at this point.

Before this song starts and he breaks up with her, he tells her, "if we end up next to each other at the bar in ballet class, just do your arabesques and pique turns in silence, don't talk to me." Hence, them trying to work it out during ballet.

Little petty side note: Bonnie Tyler's version was the first released but is not the original. The song was originally written for a (German) musical that later turned into "Dance of the Vampires" ('Tanz der Vampire').

Can you react to Borderline / Open Your Heart from Glee.
@hugehappygrin2 жыл бұрын
I watched Glee up until the new class took over, and I just couldn't. Some of these songs, I believe, never made it to air. I think that it's season 2 with the advent of the older guy from Vocal Adrenaline, and the blonde country boy. It's been a while since I watched Glee, so some things are not in memory. Some people will be triggered. The lead singer of VA seems to be college age or older, and that would not fly today, for obvious reasons.

No it's season 1 It's the episode with the list, where they are all being placed by rank of how "outrageous" they are. So Mr Schue gave them the assignment to tak a song with a bad reputation, and make it good. Rachel choose to make a music video to Run Joey Run, with Jesse, Finn and Puck. Only none of they guys knew that the other 2 was in it too. By doing this, she is trying to make her self look more promiscuous. But it backfires on her. So she sings this to say apologize, her way
