Audrey, I'm so glad you did this song. It's so underrated and Naya shows off her mastery as a singer and actress. She has the ability to connect with the emotionality of the song and with the audience whether she's acting, singing or dancing. And I love how she moves so seamlessly between singing and speaking and just nails all the dynamics of this song and makes it look so easy. Her riffs, vibrato, and her part in the harmonies are proof of her mastery. And I absolutely adore SJP as well and love her part in this. I think Santana could have easily fit in at Vogue and she got along really well with Isabelle. Wish they would have given her the chance there after Kurt decided to focus on school

I've always loved this song. My mom played A Chorus Line throughout my childhood. This version of the song is one of my favorites and one of my favorite Glee moments. I listen to it often. It makes me happy and also very sad. So beautiful.

Santana didn't enroll at Nyada, however she did take a dance class briefly there. Kurt and Rachel both attend Nyada though. Kurt was invited to the Ballet Recital by his Vogue Boss the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker. He invited Rachel and Santana, and Kurt smoothed the deal by saying she would keep the Vogue dress she wore to the event. Also excellent performance!

I don't think Kurt was at NYADA yet, he was still a Vogue intern. Santana left the college in KY to try her luck in NYC and is staying with them in Bushwick and working at the Starlight Diner. Kurt gets another tryout at Rachel's Winter showcase and then gets in.

Leas a better vocalist, her technique and skill is more developed, however their voices are very different so it’s hard to compare

​@@soph4850 arguably... lea's unidimensional style doesnt allow her to sing much out of belting/dramatic style... Naya on the other hand, can sing almost every style, from belting broadway notes to R&B

If you’re wanting rap or anything sort of raspy or requiring attitude, Naya is better. That’s what I mean when I say, it’s hard to compare the two as they have very different styles
