Kate Hudson, was a guest character for a while in Glee. Very talented and has a couple of more performances. I love this song and while I wanted it to be a Naya solo, the other two additions were great. Also glad that your skipping the leading scenes so you can go totally blind on the song.

This is one of the songs that Naya did that I wish was a solo but at the same time I'm not mad it ended up being a trio. I love the vocals by all three people people (Naya, Alex Newell, and Kate Hudson) featured in this trio. It is the only time we get this trio in performance which is a shame. As many covers as Glee did there are going to be musical pairings that only happen once in the show and certain pairings never happen at all on the show. For instance this is the only time Santana and Unique both sing lead on the same song. You've reacted to "Love Song" and that is the only performance that included the trio of Santana, Quinn, and Rachel singing on the song likewise Rachel and Quinn only had one duet in the entire series, Santana and Quinn only have one duet the entire series (they more notably perform together in group performances with Brittany aka the "Unholy Trinity" performances). Meanwhile Santana and Blaine never had a duet on the show but Naya and Darren did perform "Valerie" live together a few times.

Santana went to McKinley only to do the musical. I believe it was Unique who was supposed to play Rizzo, but dropped out so they called Santana in last minute. So yes, she did graduate with Rachel.

Yes, Santana and Rachel graduated the same year. "Adults" are allowed take part in the musicals. Dentist Carl (Ms. Pillsbury boyfriend/later husband) and later Mr. Schuester were supposed to be in The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the second season. Unique was originally cast as Rizzo, but Unique's parents would not let them perform a female role so Finn asked Santana to take over the role.
