Your "workaround" copyright does not bother me at least, clear enough the way you do it. NTV (or however those letters are translated) is quite aggressive with their stuff. Diana has her own channel where you likely have no issues if you pick a video from there. Of course those are not backed by big TV channel so you don't get all the extra so much, but Diana is enough on her own :D But this works too. Nice reaction, liked and subrcribed.

Next you might want to try "Blizzard" . Like Wicked Game it is from her second and final season on "You are Super" and this means NTV, so you'll have the same copyright and blocking problems as with this wonderful little masterpiece. It is a slightly production but her vocals are as captivating as ever.

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human. First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. Human is a must listen if you are remotely interested in her voice...her lower register is just unreal. Rechenka is my absolute favourite of Diana's! It's about an orphaned girl who is about to be entering into an arranged? marriage. The river is symbolic of the threshold between life and death. The young orphan goes to the river to seek answers and blessings from her deceased mother. The spooky whisper in the song is her deceased mother talking to her.

Rechenka was always my favorite of hers. That said, her performance of The Crow (translated) is absolutely amazing as it returns to the sort of haunting, shamanic feel of Renchenka. You would not be disappointed.

I will explain to you the meaning of this old Russian song that was sung during the wedding. Since a much shortened version was made for the scene, not even all Russian people understand its meaning. An orphan girl from a foster family is married off (most likely, to a man older than her and not of her own free will). She comes to the river (reka), affectionately calling it rechenka. The river in the folklore of many peoples is the border between the world of the living and the dead. She turns to her deceased parents: she asks for advice and blessings. An orphan girl is faced with a choice - to drown herself, committing the sin of suicide, or still accept the circumstances and "go with the flow". What will she choose? This is decided by the audience together with the performer of this song.
