One of Freddie’s known quotes was ‘We are in the golden age of music. There will be a time when technology becomes so advanced that we'll rely on them to make music rather than raw talent. Music will lose its soul’ and how right he was! If you want to see his vocal ability then I highly recommend Somebody To Love, live in Montreal 1981. Insanely good! Rest In Peace Freddie! Legends never die!

One of my favorite performances by Queen. Freddie’s vocals are unmatched!! The intro is from the opera Pagliacci. Love Freddie’s piano piano!! This is epic! Check out Rock n Rio Blues from same concert!

The Piano is a great place for drinks for the band. Freddie wasn't indulging while performing. He said it messed with his voice.

His personal assistant made sure there was water, tea, tea with honey, along with a mixture of honey and lemon. Freddie had to keep his throat functioning for these 2 hour concerts. And yes, sometimes there was beer available which he .ay take a sip of occasiinally.occasionally. I Agree that it was a great place for the drinks, but I don't understand why so many reviewers assume that it is all alcohol and he/they must be drunk. You can't perform like that if you are under the influence. They were the ultimate professionals, that is why they not only rose to the top, but have stayed there through the decades.

Awesome reaction! This is really a great song, it is a song that is sometimes a little forgotten because Queen has so many big hits, so thanks for reacting to it. I suggest you check out something from early Queen, or Queen in the 70's. This is another great song and brilliant performance, White Queen - Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975.

Speaking of great things in 1985-- Queen's performance at Live Aid., which is a very popular reaction clip. One of the reasons why Queen was able to be so kickass at Live Aid was precisely because they had a lot of experience playing to huge soccer stadium crowds not only at Rock in Rio but going back to their South American tour in 1981.

Freddie Mercury was easily the best pure singer and showman of all time. Queen was a musical super group band because each member was very talented. Freddie had so much raw talent that each performance he did live was different for each concert. This concert from Rio was amazing and you should check out "Love Of My Life" from this same concert. Spoiler alert: prepare to have your mind blown because Freddie's vocals, Brian May's guitar playing, and thousands of audience members singing the song made it great. Freddie was fantastic at controlling the crowd and letting them sing and interact with him and the band. Great reactions!

Loved the reaction. I can see how much you are moved by the instrumentals. I recommend you check White Queen live at Hammersmith 1975 (original video). There's a fantastic musical interlude between the guitarist (Brian May) and pianist (Freddie Mercury). It's one of my favorite Queen performances.

"Eye of the tiger" was released be an American rock band called " Survivor".- But thank you for another great reaction! The suit Freddie wore in the original video was also called the "Prawn (Shrimp) costume and his German producer Reinhold Mack's kids loved it. Freddie and John were the godfathers to one of the boys. ☮

Freddie Mercury did an Opera album with a soprano named Montserrat Freddie wrote the music, the song Ensueno (the original version) will let you see Freddie's full abilities as a great singer. Freddie's operatic vocals are magnificent. Freddie could sing anything. Please react to Ensueno. Maybe Opera isn't your thing, but you will love it I'm sure.

This is the classic video from Queen production, I mean they release a video on the official channel to commemorate a date but they don't even think about restoring the audio or video. as you can hear the audio the video are directly taken from videotape or thirty years of tape and all its defects. that's what always pisses me off about Queen videos on KZbin

Where did you hear they did “Eye Of The Tiger?” Definitely NOT. They did a lot of songs you’re already familiar with (though you probably don’t realize it yet), but “Eye Of The Tiger” was NOT one of them.
