I haven't heard this song since before my husband died. But that was over 15 years ago. And yet as soon as this song started I realized, as the flood gates opened, I still have a broken heart that still, and now I realize, will never be mended. Beautiful song, beautifully sung. Let me collect myself now...

Such a beautiful song. This was written at the end of the short break up of the brothers as a group. It was Barry's song but he asked Robin to sing the first verse. And, of course, since they are magical, it is also a universally understood love song.

I was born in the mid 60s and my very first Album was the Bee Gees. It is amazing to listen to them now and think about how even at 10 years old, I knew these guys would be timeless. Even after the loss of three of the brothers (RIP Andy, Maurice and Robin) playing their music keeps them alive for me. Thank you for the reaction to this very beautiful song.

A classic song, covered hundreds of times, their first USA #1.. The Bee Gees especially appreciated Al Green's cover. The song was inspired by the heartbreak of the band's break-up of 1969-1970. After a year and a half of estrangement, they re-united.This song and "Lonely Days" (and big hit also) addressed their missing each other during the breakup. The brothers weren't shy about sharing through their music that difficult time and the aftermath. Extraordinary young men!!

Thanks, Robin is my favorite.. and he starts this.. but it's really Barry's song (as most are)... the most under-rated member has been Maurice (IMHO).. he not only sang, but also played multiple instruments... miss these boys... No better harmonies than those within families!... thanks for your reaction! (p.s. they have some great live performances from the later stages of their careers, as well)

They were relevant in several decades - really adaptable. Never expected to be disco gods later on. Prolific and gifted writers.

This is an incredible song! Thanks for using it. Have you heard "Alone"? It's awesome...as are "Fanny Be Tender With My Love" and "You Win Again". Maurice sings lead on "Man In The Middle" which is one I love.

The Bee Gees wrote this song for Otis Redding but he died in a plane crash before he recorded it. The Bee Gees decided to record it themselves. It was covered by Al Greene who sang it much slower and it is worth listening to.
