My in game mic does not work. The test microphone in game is picking up my voice but then I go to use it and nothing. My headset works in Xbox party chat but not in game I have tried everything it is a brand new console and headset from Best Buy that I got on Black Friday

I got the same problem as well, happened after I played that dumb ass DMZ mode, Mic works fine in DMZ mode but stops working in other modes

What did it for me was, settings ingame voice chat hold x to reset then i put my mic output to 56 and whala it worked, finely after months 😂

It only triggers when you join a party then try to talk back in game chat only the fix I did was to restart my Xbox

My mic worked in xbox chat and every other game, but not cod. Then i held x in the audio setting to reset it and it worked. Edit: after you reset it you cant change anything in the audio setting or itll stop working again.

With the new AI engine there using for warzone behavior chat, the AI can mistake something you said as wrong behavior and it does not allow you to talk to others but you’ll be able to hear

This happened to me also when I tried a party chat with my bother in law. My mic would no longer work. The very last part of your video worked clearing the persistent storage etc

Crazy fact is that when i go to the xbox party chat it wont show my voice setting green but gray. But fortnite is working fine only mw3 is a joke

Fixed it on Xbox, go to privacy settings on the console not the game. Turn crossplay and crossplay communications off, turn Xbox off and on. Turn crossplay and comms back on then hold down Xbox button and restart console, worked for me

So, i got proximity chat banned, but my teamates unmuted me meaning they should be able to hear me bc i can hear them… but when i talk none of my friends can hear me or my teammates

if you got a wireless (this is for xbox) plug in a wired headset if the mic worked unplug the wired headset, and booom it should work now
