I really respect Joakim. He seems like a wise person with many insights. He must be a very nice person to talk to and have a deep, meaningful conversation with.

I remember Joakim was in the MRT with me and I was stoked af. He knew I was looking at him and as he was leaving, he looked at me and smiled. Posted it on Twitter, tagged him and he was like “Yeap that was me!” a genuine fella indeed

why does it seem like joakim is a real life example of "if you learn for your mistakes you can only get better from there"? im getting newfound respect from hearing his stories!

Joakim is the kind of guy male friends love hanging out with.... - No ego issues. - Learn from past mistakes, grow and move on, try and try until things get refined. - Gets to the point while still being humble.

Damn! We need a part II with Joakim! Enjoyed this podcast. Thanks Joakim for being honest.

Omg this might be one of my favorite episodes so far, I freaking love Joakim and knowing that he walked the “made mistakes” path at a 24yr old (might not seem old) to me was very down to earth. Learned a lot and made me feel better for making mistakes in my 20s and just moving on

Joakim is surprisingly quite a thoughtful communicator who is clearly intelligent. This is a different side of him as he usually portrays the light-hearted side in hosting and DJ-ing. I feel like he should be recognised as his own person and not constantly be compared / associated with Sonia.

actually, what was so bad about the $50 comment to warrant such a huge reaction from gurmit? yeah it wasn't the best thing to say but it's not like joakim said something racist or sexist on national tv.

Proud of how far Joakim has come in his career. The improvements he made overtime and how he re established himself after SI. About the r/s part. Ay yooo. If Joakim and Sonia are not tired of answering, there are already other people tired of them being tired of the same questions. 😂

Great to see the growth of his career and his maturity, but I got to say he's a very lucky man in terms of the opportunities he's got. Nonetheless, staying humble goes a long way and I guess that's how keeps him going! Good luck Joakim!
