Sonic 06: Cave of Bad Dreams is WILD!!

This level is designed for Silver, but plays surprisingly smooth with Sonic as well. Very unique environment to see in Sonic 06, it is from Rayman 2 afterall. The beach ending is best. xD

I like both Sonic and Rayman series as well! It would be cool if they will get a crossover game one day! Also both series have some things in common like: they both have anthropomorphic and human characters, great soundtracks, fast paced gameplay, robot enemies and even robot pirates and both series fluctuate in tone depending on the game (some games are serious, other are more comedic and cartoony in tone).

@@JesseVlogs I agree! I hope that we'll get Rayman 4 one day! The concept art looks really good and it's a shame that the game was cancelled and transformed into Raving Rabbids. I'm glad that at least some discoveries on the game were made recently at least! Hopefully one day we'll get a playable rom, a fan game that recreates Rayman 4 or Ubisoft will revive the project!

Never expected to see a Rayman level in Sonic game, especially in Sonic 06. Feels good to see some Rayman and Sonic 06 again. Despite I didn't played any Rayman game 😅. Such a shame Ubisoft didn't came back on Rayman franchise since.

It was just nice to work on something for once that allowed me to be creative rather than trying to follow the original layout one-to-one (like with Greenflower and Seaside Hill).

I ain't no modder, but perhaps you could try adding geometry to existing Sonic levels when modding them in? I remember for example DEXTERITY added a whole new area to Wave Ocean in SA2 that was pretty neat to see. Your stage mods always impress none the less.

I'm no modeller, anything I add would clash horribly with the original stage. Honestly if I was going to do that I'd prefer to make a completely original stage from the ground up.

Come on Sega, give Silver his own game already. There's so much his powers can do but you're forced to actively nerf him when he's fighting alongside his friends because he's basically a walking 'win' button. Rayman 2 has such a soft spot in my heart, I played it constantly as a kid and I remember this level terrifying me (especially the chase at the end), I got through it though! I own the 3DS version now but I still think the Dreamcast had the best version.

Imagine a level with sonic where mepbelis trying to keep him dead but at the end there is a mach speed section and mephelis knocks sonic out but sonic says a badass quote goes super and deafeates maphelis and gets revived

The bad voice acting and loony art style fit Sonic 06 like a glove. If only we could see that corny voice coming out of Mephilis in a weird costume. Like a witch , or a nun , or a Razor Beard outfit.

The Slide Silver is a separate copy of the snowboard, so the Everyone is Sonic mod won't effect it, as the files for it normally don't exist in player.arc.
