Okay, I still strongly believe in Sonic having a brother,(Manic) a sister,(Sonia) and a mom(Aleena), but I do like this concept of Sonic's past and I like how the traumatic part of Sonic losing his mom during a storm is what made him scared of water. And now I finally get where Sonic got his rebellious attitude from his Mom. Domino was a great Mom, tho' she gave up her own life in order for Sonic to survive. Now I want to know what gave Sonic the motivation to use his powers to defend Mobius.

Sadly sonics mother and father have already been shown in sonic media (specially sonic underground) also sonics inability to swim is mostly because his fur and quills absorb the water preventing him from floating and he doesn't have the patience to actually swim, he mostly avoids water because of those reasons, and the other comics shown that he just started existing, and its implied that sonics parents weren't dead, just absent, I heard that in a old comic interview, but they may change their appoarch again
