Sonic 2 Easy Mode Speedthrough

Hello there everybody. Not much to say today. Mostly because i'm rambling in the video already. This video is a supplement to a Sonic video i have yet to finish. And also a substitute for a Foolish April gag. I just thought it would be fun to play through easy mode. Obviously i'm not serious about the speedrun. My time in this is close to actual speedrunners times in the normal game. It would be cool to see some actual runs of it though. Oh, and sorry for the tin-can audio. I cleaned it up as much as i reasonably could. Should've just got my lav mic ready. Oh well i guess. Hopefully my next actual video is out soon. I still have lots of footage to line up in it. Then it's time to get my hands dirty. I was thinking of postponing my Mario video, and doing the Zelda instead. But Nintendo themselves postponed the Zelda game, so perhaps i have extra time on that one. Though the script is already done. I've got some work yet to do on the Mario script. Funny, cause i've had 2 of the 3 games beaten for well over a year now. And the third one for a few months now. I just never really put all the words together yet. I've got all my thoughts thought out though, believe me. Plus i still have the FF7 series to finish up, and that Melody KH vid. Oh, and the Boundary Bust follow up. I've got appetite, but man is my plate full. Plus i really want to circle back to start a sonic series. Eventually it will all play out. In the mean time, thanks for sticking around. I'll play with you some other time. That's a sonic quote, okay? It kinda sounds weird in writing. But it's cool when he says it. I'm outta here. Also a sonic quote. Do you know where from? It's a weird but fun easter egg. Alright, I'm out for real.

Aside from 1 act per zone and less hits needed to beat the bosses, easy mode also removes some of the stage hazards and alters some of the enemy placements (like that punching crab enemy in Metropolis Zone, which now faces in the opposite direction).

RE: your description, it's a Sonic CD reference 😜. Your channel is massively underated, just discovered it myself and thoroughly enjoyed the video about needing more collections on modern platforms. Excellent work so far man.

The normal and easy modes of sonic jam deserve more attention! The normal modes in particular are basically version 1.1 of the level designs of each game
