1:27 Tails is grabbing onto Hyper Sonic's Super Hyper aura to carry him from the super strong tension he is competing with. Tails is just awesome like that.

I just spotted a really awesome glitch in the main boss battle on this level. If you have a water shield while you hit Robotnik while he's still in the ground and then bounce on the mushrooms while you're chasing him the graphics will get totally messed up and the screen will lock further up

The glitch where Robotnik doesn't explode until you hit the ground as Tails was probably to make sure that you don't get stuck against the tree before the capsule.

At 6:50, the bounce might have been the result of one of the Flickies touching the mushroom. If you look carefully at the rightmost mushroom, you can see that it goes into its bouncing animation right after the Flickie passed it.

The second Tails werdness with act 2's boss can be done as Sonic by bouncing endlessly with the Bubble shield. This way, you can keep the boss like that forever, as long your thumb doesn't get tired.

At one point, as Knuckles in S. & K., when facing the Act 2 boss, the robot thing briefly became Eggman when I hit him. (Works on Sega Genesis only. Highly unlikely to occur.)

There's actually a video on here where someone got past too eager. But it was pure luck. Basically went back and forth from the beginning to where the cut scene is 3 or 4 times and eventually Knuckles appeared

There's some kind of weird oversight when S&K is played alone in this zone. If you play as Knuckles, there's some way to have the Act 2 boss being Robotnik/Eggman instead of Egg Robo.

You know sometimes when I play as Knuckles, I'd face Robotnik instead of Eggrobo(Or whatever he's called) on Mushroom hill. Is there a glitch that makes that happen or does that just happen randomly sometimes?

Into the Earth: most of act 2 goes into the void once sonic touches the ground from the lift.

i found a glitch in sonic 3 and knuckles where at mushroom hill zone you can do the sound test thing alot and there is double knuckles at sky sanctuary zone and you can do act 1 as knuckles

That's because it was Sonic's level and knuckles wasn't supposed to go there, you can also let sonic go knuckles' final level

At some point it had the Robotnik Sprites,but the hit sprite was EggRobos

Press start at the end cut scene of Act 2 then un pause, and you wont hear the ship that passes by. Do it again for Robotnik and a 3rd time after Robotnik passes and the ship makes noise again

And the thing is, these glitches aren't half as bad as the ones on Sonic 2006. The game's still playable with some of them. And this was on the little old megadrive.

@AndyParka Super Sonic is basically just sonic with constantly invincibility and super shoes at the cost of rings draining at all times. Hyper Sonic has the same powers, plus a Hyper Dash that's activated by double jumping in midair. it lets him do a midair dash in any direction (like a combo n of all three shields) and instantly kills all enemies on screen. You get Super Sonic from the chaos emeralds in Sonic 3, Hyper Sonic from getting them all in both games.

I did a glitch here once, in act 2 XD. You know right near the end, where that wind-chicken is, with the ring room behind it and the pulley things infront? I went up on the left one, jumped to the right just below the platform, fell through a glitchy mushroom hill and died. XD I tried to re-do it but I couldnt

Well.. In mushroom hill zone act 1 you can get 3 emeralds and 4 in act 1.. And that after u beat the game, You can use your save as a stage select.

6:31 That's the same place with the alcoves in Act 1, but you can see inside them, since you're in Act 2, and the game didn't load the tiles that Sonic goes behind. Oh, and is there any way to bypass the wind liftoff in the Act 2 Knuckles cutscene? I tried to find a way without debug, but I just can't do it. Maybe I can get through the wall with Hyper Sonic's double ju... oh, wait... there are not enough rings... DAMN YOU, ACT 2!!
