EH1 - 0:19 - 20 is standard, so 19 is a nice bonus
EH2 - 0:38 - not
CP1 - 0:23 - much
CP2 - 0:40 - to
AR1 - 0:23 - say
AR2 - 0:40 - actually, this is where the run starts. Anything between 38-46 is common and there's not much you can do about it. Hitting the very precise underwater jump saved 4 seconds and the frame-perfect boss glitch another 3.
CN1 - 0:31 - considering this level could go terribly wrong, ok
CN2 - 1:01 - normally, this level goes way smoother for me (~58), meh
HT1 - 0:40 - got the rare, good version of the zip, kinda botched it afterwards, but still a very good time
HT2 - 1:08 - I figured, I could risk going for the early cycle, since you have a lot of leeway towards the normal cycle and what happens...I even miss the normal cycle :(
MC1 - 0:34 - went well
MC2 - 0:43 - ditto
OO1 - 0:33 - ditto
OO2 - 0:42 - werster's strat from his S2K run
Met1 - 0:54 - Kreygasm
Met2 - 0:31 - 15 sec down the drain :(
Met3 - 0:46 - didn't go as intended but still got it...phew
SC - 2:06 - Kappa
WF - 2:00 - 2 sec lost at the power on based platforms, another 2 missing the spindash jump up the platform and 4 on the boss :(
DE - 0:51 - the tautness was inexplicable

it took me 2 days to complete chemical plant zone when i first played it but now i can complete it easily. it took me 4-5 hours to beat silver sonic in death egg zone but now i can beat it in like 16 seconds. all the levels are easy once you get used to them

I remember the first time I got to Metropolis Zone in Sonic 2 I thought those spinning copper mesh cylinders in the background and which you spiral through looked so real! And in Sky Chase Zone, robot turtles riding rocket turtles? AWESOME! Then that music in Wing Fortress Zone sounded so EPIC! Almost as epic as jumping onto the exterior of a rocket, hanging on for dear life, when the sky turns black and you realized you've reached orbit! Yeah, I was 11....

Metropolis 3 was amazing without pause buffering. I always pause buffer there. Oil Ocean 2 was normal, the spin roll at the end kinda scared me cause I do my roll a tiny tiny tiny bit after the certain music cue, but still very successful run. Great job

Bigcokeslushie722 In the Sonic 2 speedrun (should come up as a top result) The guy talks about the spin dash saying the quicker you charge and release the faster you go so the best speed runners can do 6 revs of a spin dash then release it they delay the release then the speed will decrease slightly
