@@UWG3 For me, it's: 1 - greater variety in zones (10 x 6), even though Sky Chase is too short; 2 - more memorable themes (chemical zone, pinball, oil ocean), while some zones in Sonic 3 feel like a variation of themes used in previous games (Carnival Night = Casino Night+ Starlight zone, Marble Garden = Marble + Aquatic Ruin zone); 3 - Better 2 player mode: in Sonic 2 you can compete in the same levels of the 1-player mode, while in Sonic 3 it is some sort of time attack sections inspired by the original levels. Oh, and I also prefer the Sonic sprite of the first 2 games ;)

You know why you are here, this track was removed from the Sonic Origins collection thanks to copyright issues with the Michael Jackson estate, other tracks were removed. Sad, but understandable. Not all is lost, Sega can still sell the game with the original soundtrack, as long as it's the original unchanged ROM.
