The Happy Meal commercials took me all the way back! I think I was just finishing up kindergarten when that first one aired and I remember going from being mesmerized by the game footage (the only real bit of the game I ever saw in action until I finally got my hands on a damn cartridge two years later) to being totally taken by the girl knocking on the screen - couldn't understand why I was always imagining playing the game with her whenever it came on. In hindsight, I was crushin' hard. Ditto for the McDonald's worker at 1:54, which I forgot all about until now. Oh to be an innocent youngster again LOL

I think cause the add was promoting it before sonic 3 was split in two I mean it could probably was recorded on December 93 or January 94 so I guess it makes sense if it's true but I probably think that's not the case cause sonic 3 was probably split before it and I think sonic and knuckles was probably the one with the more development cause the final boss and more levels than sonic 3 but hey at least we got them both combined with the lock on and complete and air.

"34 megs of power" good try Sega of America lol. Sonic 3 is 16 megs, S&K is 16, = 32. They had to split the games because Japan didn't produce 32 meg cartridges for the genesis. Sega should've released Sonic & Knuckles sooner. JP got Sonic 3 in May, US had to wait 8 months for the rest of the game when S&K was complete by July 1994. This is where Sega began to make bad choices
