I mean it makes sense, sonic is hard to read. He acts all chill and nonchalant, saying its mostly about fun and going fast,yet he displays deep moral wisdom and emotional maturity when it comes down to it (in sonic and the black knight for excample). He goes through alot and pushes himself through hell by sheer determination, yet this determination doesnt seem to go deeper then its the right thing to do. He seems to be in it for the game, yet the game is world ending disasters

The weirdest thing is the comic is ACCURATE. I often struggled a lot with socializing and making friends, and it also didn’t helped that most other kids found me weird. I'm gonna be honest, Sonic is a character who can't be explained..he's a character who despite everything falling apart around him, he never gives up he's the sort of guy who'll find the bright side in ANY situation he's the type of guy to risk his life just for the one's he loves, the type of guy who wants to protect people and have fun honestly he's a very simple yet complex individual no matter what way you look at him, he can be kind and gentle but also hard head, smart, strategic, strong, and in some cases cold if he really needs to be..one things for sure he's not a force to be reckoned with but he doesn't let that affect his actions or anything..everything he does is for the safety of others and if he fucks up he always tries to make it right

There’s a theory that Sonic is a literal God. Chaos - Water Iblis (and therefore, blaze) - Fire Gaia - Earth They are three out of the four elements. Blaze describes Sonic as a knight of the wind. What if he’s more than that? During the fight against the end (not final horizons), the end boasted about how it was superior to every other enemy that he had fought prior. Sonic, however, still at least defeated the end, proving how powerful he is, putting him on par with the End, which considers itself as the most powerful. I’ve always found Sonic and shadows dynamic that of different circumstances. By all means, they’re the same. But while Sonic is free to run and live in the moment, shadow is weighted down by his past, forcing himself forward. Shadow always struggled with his purpose, even before everything on the arc. Being unable to cure Maria made him wonder why he existed.

Me: "When i couldn't run, he gave me the will and passion to do what i can, so i started drawing while he runs for me" I have asthma, learned about it when tried for track and field. Had a bad asthma attack in the middle of recess, gone to the hospital and made it in disbelief. I was already a Sonic before this and the reason I wanted to do sports, running became my passion but was lost do to my limitations. When Sonic and Knuckles game dropped i was in a fog but that game opened me up to understanding i can do more now that I wasn't focused on one thing, i took up boxing. Didn't master it but I didn't have to, I was good and didn't have to run fast to hit harder. Knuckles wasn't my hero but was like a friend i didn't know i needed, so i went beyond boxing and did many other martial arts. Of course I was still limited but not restricted, then i picked back up Art again. It was the passion before Running and I fell back in love with drawing. I will always thank Sonic, I learn limitations doesn't mean the end but to branch out and explore what the world had to offer, find what freedom means to me. He is a force of nature, at least to me.

Honestly, everyone here both in the comic and in the comments are correct. Mostly because everything Sonic is is his own choice. He portrays himself the same way no matter what; just a guy whos gotta do what he's gotta do, thats all! Its just that everyone sees him differently, but the one thing everyone has for him is respect. Lanolin was indeed correct. A guy who can literally travel through time and space with just his speed alone, he could do whatever he wanted and literally no one could stop him! And yet, he chooses the simple life. A life of going with the flow. If he saves someone along the way? Great! If he makes an enemy of the world? Bring it on! Sonic is who he wants to be, and I can't help but admire that! He IS the appreciation of life; living in it, with it, and for it, and he wants to share that with everyone else! Thats who Sonic is! Or not. To me, sonic can't truly be defined by just one word. He has adventure in his heart, and freedom in his life. He even tries to get some his enemies on the side of good, Like shadow. He cares for others, and is willing to do anything to save the world, even if his own life is at stake. If i had to say what sonic is, i would say that he is that he is not defined by just one word, but rather his many qualities, like his heroism, and his will to do good. To sum it all up, Sonic is pretty mysterious, yet A role model to those around him, and Overall, a hero. He is also THE GOAT!!!!! 🗿🗿🗿

Honestly thinking about Sonic is up there with Spiderman on my list because no matter what you say about him or how you explain him, he always shows new things when faced with challenges that hinder him- you can’t fully describe who these characters are because that’s just who they are, they are able to give you a since of justice, of generosity, and compassion, and so many other things, they are personally special to me because they face struggles and opposition yet refuse to let it change their morals and resolve they truly have some powerful minds to withstand everything they are put through and come out still themselves💖
