Sonic shouldn't be just fast, fast, fast all the time. Sonic advance feels more like the routes with the Sonic Genesis Trilogy (S3 and S&K are 2 halfs of eachother). Sonic Advance has you do more skill and thought throughout the stages and relies on exploration and challenging level design to make the game fun.

I really loved playing this game back on my Gameboy Advance SP back in the day. I vividly remember the soundtracks to angel island act 2, egg rocket act 1, and x zone. This game also frustrated me at times in certain areas. I had the sonic advance and spinball cartridge back in the day. I was heartbroken when this game got lost.
