Everyone about Sonic doing an instant dash attack: This is due to a glitch in the PAL version caused by the frame rate being dropped when playing in 50Hz which causes the game times to think you press a button twice due to it skipping frames in order to run at the same speed as it runs in 60Hz. This glitch can easily be stopped by changing the game to 60Hz by holding down B as the game is booting up. This issue is not in the NTSC version nor is it in any of the Dreamcast versions. This jumping issue is also present in the PAL version of SADX for Gamecube and it can be fixed the exact same way.

It's not that it was hard, sometimes the homing attack would occur without even jumping while on the platforms, so falling into the quicksand was intensely annoying. Being careful was the key.

Dude, my opinion on this game will most likely change in a week with the updated HD version. I played the GameCube PAL version, and that version had lots of glitches and terrible programming. I heard the NTSC version didn't have those problems, but I wouldn't know since I only own the PAL version. Still, they are going to fix any issues with the HD version, so yeah.

Sonic 2 can be sonic adventure dx made in the year 2,022 or 2,023. Sonic 3 can be sonic adventure 2 battle, Sonic 4 can be sonic heros all with Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik. Dr Robotnik should create metal sonic along w scratch & grounder. Knuckles & others need to have good hip hop songs like this movie gave us Sonic 2020.

No, no, no. The NTSC version did NOT have the game breaking glitch (which was probably the one you played). I'm not saying this game is bad! No, I actually really want to like this game, but since my experience has been on the PAL version (WITH the game breaking glitch) I can't just say it's the best god damn Sonic game ever!

the jumping controls in the game are horrible. tails hovers instead of jumping sometimes, knuckles tries to glide on land, and sonic uses the homing attack instead of jumping. really fucks up your gameplay and is the main reason i hate this game. it's just terrible programming. only a nostalgia fuck would love this game. it's like saying sonic 06 is the best game ever because it was someone's first sonic game. open your eyes people, this game is terrible and you know it!
