I actually hate BOTH the jumpscare AND Giant Boom Boos! The only reason the Boom Boos aren't on top for me is because there isn't many of them that you HAVE to put up with but man the jumpscare ones are what gets me because I'm not used to where they are (Looking at you, Aquatic Mine!).

I usually hate cheating, but some of the Hard Modes on these Treasure Hunting stages are so miserably esoteric I just don't care. I cleared three on my own, and there was just no satisfaction. It was the Egg Quarters with Rouge on Hard that I finally said 'screw it'. Thanks so much for the video, you're a lifesaver

Is your definition of "cheating", just looking up the most optimal route when necessary? I think it's pretty normal to look up guides; it's only "cheating" if you just hack the emblems in lol

I've exclusively speedran this level so I'd never actually seen the massive underwater section. Really cool addition to this level! Definitely one of the more interesting hard mode levels, though I think they gave up on piece 2 lol

Man I've been playing this game for years, I sold my dreamcast many years ago so I've been trying to complete the Steam version since 2017. Your videos have been very helpfull for me for all this years, now I'm at 134 emblems, and got all A Ranks for Sonic and Shadow already. Doing Knuckles now. Thanks again.

You need to get the Mystic Melody ability, located in one of the stages.

As Sonicfan129 was saying, it’s located in Wild Canyon. After you get blown into the air into the upper part of the stage, go to where the statue of a pharaoh (?) and dig into the painting above him. You only need the Shovel Claws for this, which is found in Pumpkin Hill.

Xendemo there was also another switch in the water whenever you collect the 2nd key, if you go above, there’s a switch on the side that also stops the trap and it’s easier without you trying to get the 3rd key while stopping the trap. It’s literally on the side in the water near the 2nd coin.
