I actually thought there would be a screen that popped up saying "Unlocked Super Sonic" after finishing the game the 1st time on Dreamcast. I think I got tricked by a website that mentioned it as a fake unlockable. That was during the time when people thought Super Shadow was called Hyper Shadow.

two words: better tails ...maybe, it's a fun mod that brings tails' sa1 gameplay to sa2, tons of fun just breaking stages with flight, definitely better to play with sonic: new tricks' remap function (also try knuckles: new tricks) and physics swap as sa2 sonic/shadow

This is good mod. But there is some issues that should be fixed by updates later on like rings should be going to sonic when he is super like the thunder shield. The music should loop more better and not have these few seconds of fade out and silence too. the animation of when sonic is doing his pose should keep his super pose looping until the next level instead of immediately after the animation change into the default one. Another minor nitpick is the fact sonic isn't glowing and has this weak translucent shield instead. Sure the person who is playing it would of not mind it as much but still would have been a great detail really if they either do some effect like the light speed dash charge effect from Sonic Adventure but yellow or just make the shield a bit more noticeable. And that's it. I hope the person who made this mod will improve this mod later on in the future. It is good, but it has some problems that should be fixed later on. That's all.

I'm more amazed how it takes so long for SA2 to get its own Super Sonic mod. SA1 got his own since ... I don't know but probably when modding on SA1 was a thing.

I feel like the flying, while awesome, might be a little more balanced if it went through rings faster or something, à la Super Boosting in Generations (although not to that extent cause holy crap the ring drain on that was ridiculous)

not exactly. you would get an A rank in green hill zone, and then a message would be on screen telling that stronger sonic and shadow are available in 2p battle, and then instead of their alt costumes, you would get the super hedgehogs

I was shock when I saw this on gaming banana its odd that it took this long any whoooo Only sonic is compatible with this mod so Shadow can't do it (the mod creator has stated that Shadow might be compatible in a future update) It would be nice if all chacters would have this ability but this isn't likely never gonna happen.
