I remember when I once talked about how having Super Sonic play EXACTLY like this in the open world could've been an amazing idea for this game,but unfortunately they didn't probably have time to add this feature,which makes me sad,but at least we still have mods to make up for it Also,I know some people were disappointed about Hyper not coming back in this game,but think about it: The End DID say we haven't seen the last of it,and Sage talked about Super Sonic not being enough to stop it,so not all hope is lost!

@@xiswarmin It was in a quick fire interview with Iizuka and its on the wiki. Hyper is canon now at the least, which means it could return and the END being stronger than Solaris (a foe beaten by 3 super hedgehogs though technically due to being in the past present and future they had to fight against it individually) and Super Sonic at full power means that Hyper has a semi-realistic chance at returning. That, or they decide to go balls to the wall and give more super forms to other characters to join a big fight.

I love the design interpretation of Hyper Sonic where he appears to be white, but if you look closely you can see the colors of the chaos emeralds illuminating from him. A lot better than the seizure inducing one from Sonic 3.

@@r1can79 Honestly, I think you're partially right. I still need to work out a couple quirks, but once they're ironed out, he should look even better. I might also try the rainbow aura just to see how it looks, if I like it, make it a config option and decide if it becomes the default based on user feedback.

Seeing this made me realize the best way for Hyper Sonic to look in a modern 3D game. In the classic games, Hyper Sonic is pretty much Super Sonic but with the various colors of the Chaos Emeralds flashing as his fur color. For modern games, he should have the white fur like we've always been depicting but his aura should be the one that has the mix of all the colors of the Chaos Emeralds. I think that would make for a very clean looking Hyper Sonic design.

@@KewelsBri a bit of criticsm, i think his boots and gloves should glow like the rest of his body (hyper sonic). it looks weird in some parts cause it doesnt, vanilla super sonic has that glow.

@@darkind Yeah, the focus for the update was to get Hyper Sonic in and fix the bugs that stopped Super Sonic mods from working with my mod. A couple colors were changed as tests to see if those fixes were working, but given there's a large amount of files that controls these effect colors, I decided it was still a big enough update to push it out with it being stable and all. So I'm planning on fixing it, I just haven't been able to get around to it yet. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm still unconsolably salty, even bitter that you can't turn Super Sonic outside of bosses - being able to do combos-into-Super would've been so stylish to do, and flying around the Starfall Islands at blazing speed would've been so thrilling. I still pray it comes in an update, but I think that we'll have to wait a while until a mod makes it a reality

Someone is actually making a mod that _does_ enable Super Sonic in the open world, transformation and all. I have to admit that while it's cool to see, I have concerns about how playable it'll be once it's out. I do feel like we'll get an official update with Super Sonic at some point, just maybe not until the story DLC comes out about a year from now.

If your referring to the boost trail , you can have it permanently if you max Sonics speed

I actually had an idea like that. What if the Super Emeralds can't be used because they transferred all of their energy into the form of orbs scattered around some islands, and Sonic needs to find those to turn Hyper Sonic again. It'd be a neat game for sure.

This is a pretty good mod. The thing I noticed was the mouth being stuck on his right side when it tends to shift depending on what side you look at him from. Including even Hyper Sonic is what gives a thumbs up for me. Sega has something interesting there and they’re forgetting it.

Here my kind of wishlist for new content for sonic frontier. Free roam super sonic is definitely up there. It would make exploring the islands extremely cool and imagine if you could fly to these island as well extremely cool. Bosses replay with added difficulty. It way too easy to beat these bosses especially when you are fully max out. I want to actually feel challenge when I fight them. new boss fight. I was disappointed when I saw the last mini game and it was just fighting a moon. Maybe this could be a secret boss battle or something when you beat all of the old bosses on max difficulty. Idk they are suggestion I like the sound of them but a lot of effort would have to be put in what most likely will end up to be DLC.
