@@SkittleologyNo, he was correct. Sonic Adenture, like all of the previous mainline games where Sonic and Tails were playable as a duo, allowed you to control the AI Tails with a second controller! However, like those games, there was no split-screen when doing this. Needless to say, this mod’s multiplayer is leaps and bounds more sophisticated.

The fact there's an entirely new section in the menu is crazy! It straight up feels like SA2's multiplayer menu in SA1. I'm player 1 and my brother is player 2. Next time I'll see if we can get 4 players with some people over Parsec! There's also brand new tracks in the Kart Racing which is alot of fun!

Regarding the Twinkle Circuit tracks, they are actually already in the game. One was DLC for the DC version and the others went unused. You can play on all 6 of them in singleplayer via the Debug tab in the manager or DLC mod :P

I personally think Sa1 and Sa2 should be combined into one game and the multiplayer part would be integrated in both: For SA2 it would use the same system as SA2B For SA1 the characters should go as follows: - *Sonic stages:* Sonic, Tails, Shadow, metal sonic, Eggman equipped with the flying egg, and maybe knuckles, rouge, and Amy. - *Tails stages:* Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Eggman equipped with the flying egg. - *Knuckles stages:* Knuckles, Rouge, Tikal, and Chaos 0 (tails may not fit as he can’t climb) - *Amy stages:* Any character in either game not equipped with shooting capabilities. -Big stages are not a good fit for multiplayer- - *E-102 stages:* E-102 gamma, tails equipped with mech from SA2, eggman equipped with mech from SA2, chao Walker, dark chao walker, and big the cat equipped with mech from sa2 Dreamcast version. - *Kart racing stages:* Any character from either game, no restrictions.

Multiplayer was a huge missed feature for the game. Nice that we get to see what it would be like thanks to that mod. Interesting to see Eggman and Tikal would be playable but not Metal Sonic. Maybe he'll be an alternative for Sonic.

@@svlsrv0010 If the Adventure games would get an official remaster, I imagine they would have characters up to SA2B and maybe include Cream since she made cameo appearances in DX. Most of the cut features from the original Dreamcast version would be restored like online, costumes, and holiday stages. I only played the GameCube games on my Wii not too long ago, I got them from eBay.

Speaking of alternatives, I recently came across a video about building the dream Sonic Adventure remake, which talked about adding characters who could be alternatives to the main characters, like Mecha Sonic Mark 3 (the Silver Sonic in one of the containment tubes in the area that leads to the Final Egg stage) being an alternative to E-102 Gamma.

Not a fan how when someone changes section of the level, everyone gets teleported. It undermines the race.

I wonder if the goal capsule could be relocated prior to the act transitions. Much like SA2 multiplayer which had a few shorter levels. It would discourage other players who aren't in the lead from waiting around for the eventual stage transition. The final one in Lost World being the most egregious since it's right before the goal and someone could easily steal the win at the last possible second.

Hello there, yes this is a mod for the Steam version of the game. You need to install the SA Mod manager (the page has directions but mostly just need to extract the zip file to your SA1 folder) then once that's complete you would install the Multiplayer mod which the link is in the description.

Well we did CO-OP so I assume that's why a player is teleported. Didn't actually try a VS race with a 2nd section, maybe you wouldn't teleport?

​​@@sonicovertime​ Regardless if its versus or co-op stage transitions will teleport all players. I assume because the game is unable to track both players while simultaneously loading in separate acts. A solution could be to relocate the goals prior to the stage transitions. Ultimately leading to shorter levels. Though it wouldn't be too disimilar to some SA2 multiplayer levels. Like City Escape which ends early. You could still keep all the acts you'd just make them shorter individual races.
