Something that would make this mod better is if they replace the animation for Sonic after he hits enemies with his homing attack with a slashing animation. Then that’ll it would look like if you were using Soul Surge in the game

It's a nice mod I suppose. I was hoping for a little more since sonic and the black knight is one of my favorite games of all time. People act butt hurt because SA4 isn't a thing yet (lets be real 06 was SA3), but the titles in the storybook series ended at 2 games and never went further, and I loved them. To each their own I guess.
