I'm going to have to disagree with you on the combat Wallid. I've played a ton of Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 before I rented Sonic Boom so it might be that I started out as biased against Sonic Boom to begin with, but I found SB's combat system to be incredibly boring and lackluster overall. SB isn't a broken game like 06 but it is just a bad and boring game.

This shouldn't have been a review IMO. We all know the game's garbage, and there's no point in giving it a rating. I feel like this review in particular could have been done better in a fashion similar to that of ProJared, where it's almost like a condensed let's play/walkthrough while also giving your thoughts on the game, as opposed to just "analyzing" the game. The writing and jokes you guys make in this episode really lend itself to that sort of style. I still enjoyed it, hell, I always found TailsChannel to be pretty boring, but here I thought he was hilarious and really worked well with you. I just feel it would've worked better if it didn't try to also be a serious review. TLDR: Good video, but could've been done differently.

My in-depth mini review, for you: Sonic Lost World is a good game if you come into it with the right mind-set. If you learn the controls, avoid collecting all the red rings and comes into it with an open mind, the game can be a blast to play. The levels have a much higher emphasize on platforming and precission than most other Sonic games, so of course there's less emphasize on speed than earlier titles, but honestly, the levels are still really fast paced compared to other platforming games. Only 4 of the 35 levels in total are as bad as people make them out to be, while the rest of the levels range from okay-great. 14 of those levels are fun, memorable and well-designed, while the rest is not bad, just okay. There's also plenty of replay value, like 2-player versus races, time attack mode and two free DLC-stages (the Yoshi and Zelda DLCs) which are great fun to play through. If you expect a more platforming oriented Sonic game, a bit more similar to Mario but still has some of the things that makes him stand out from Mario, the game is definetley worth buying. If you expect Unleashed style of gameplay, then no, it's not good. But one thing for sure; the game is definetley not bad, it runs smoothly, looks and sounds good, controls more precisely than earlier games and has a ton of replay value. Objectively, I would say it's a meh game at worst and great game at it's best. Hope I was able to help you! :)
